I paid for CL in Sugar Loaf, but really wouldn't mind having a room (with a view) in Boca Chica! That would be a win for me.

Has that happened to anyone else before? I wonder if it was an isolated occurrence or if this is part of a strategy to have 'unlimited' club room availability possibly? Totally making it up but wondering if it's possible!

The OP's trip is still in the future. She paid for SL but would not mind a room in Boca. At least thats how I read it.

Does anyone know the pricing of valet laundry and dry cleaning service at the grand?

I'm the one that had a CL room and was put in Boca Chica. But it wasn't an especially great view.

I was told that SL only has a few 1 bedroom rooms and since we got a 1 bedroom, we had to be put in another building.

Also note there was no foot cream or solar gel - although maybe I could have asked for it?

I believe all the suites (other than specific bookable suites like the Grand Suite or Victorian) are considered by request for building and the only guarantee is just CL access. We always request the one we want and have been fortunate to receive it. The one thing I really like is that you can use either SL or RPC when you have any suite. We used to enjoy this perk pre magic bands when in RPC and it was nice to run into SL when at the pool.

It is absolutely ridiculous that you were in a suite and did not receive an array of toiletries. We always receive the full size toiletries as well as toothbrush, mending, and razor kits. If you were at all disappointed in your experience or would like to give feedback on your stay please send an email to guest services.

ITA, re: your comments about the lack of toiletries in the suite!! For those prices, somebody ought to come and wash your hair with the shampoo and conditioner!!

I am having a fantastic trip so far! I wasn't sure I'd even be able to come on this trip due to sick relatives at home, so I'm SO happy to be here! Thanks for the send off and great trip wishes! I am happy to say I was escorted to RPC by someone and the concierge people have been exceptional! For some reason, test track has had issues all day and has been closed, but they got us fast passes for another day so we don't miss out! I'll be here all week if anybody has any questions...I'll try to remember to check in!
