I did that last year walking past Sugar Loaf with dh. Dd and I often stay there.
However we had a great trip! It forced me to try other things like Narcoosee's.
Last Oct I did my first non poly cl in years and again I missed Hawaii but we got room service breakfast and dd loved Tonga toast in bed. Then went to Traders and Tambu for 5pm appetizers and at Brown Derby outdoor bar area too.
It's fun to mix it up!
It was my first N. We had a lovely meal! What did you think of Narcoossees?!! We love it and it’s a must do for us!!
We are doing what you did this year, now that we’re DVC members!! I was worried we’d really miss CL, but for our upcoming trip, we booked a bunch of restaurants, including some we haven’t tried yet! I think the ability to try new places to eat at different parks and hotels will be exciting! Are you getting excited for July?!!

Another option is the bar areas of the restaurants, kind of a hidden gem. CG at CR has a nice bar menu for example. Sushi and flatbreads etc.
I do like the villas for breakfast, make some eggs or a bagel and hang in your room. Make mimosas even. The liquor at WDW in the stores are way cheaper than ordering in the bars/restaurants.
Love having a nightcap on my villa balcony with an awesome cupcake from one of the many fun ones to choose from! Oh and choc covered strawberries and pineapple are available in MK in the confectionery, seasonally. Dd and I have been known to splurge on those too!
As dd always says "treat yo'self"!
Forgot I had a question! We booked a half day cabana rental. I'm assuming an attendant will be checking on us and we'll be able to order drinks through them? Do we tip with each drink ordered? or do we tip at the end of the rental time? Would 20.00 for the four hours be adequate? Or do we tip 20% of items ordered? First time renting a cabana. I don't want to commit a faux pas. TIA
Hi All!!
Getting closer until our next trip to the GF. Scheduled my FPasses last weekend and again no luck with FOP at Pandora. Hopefully if I keep checking it will work out or otherwise we'll see about getting there early in the AM. My 20 something year olds are not going to love that idea...lol!!!
My youngest recently turned 21, looking forward to going to Jellyrolls and maybe Trader Joe's. We've been to Jellyrolls during an adult only trip, has anyone ever gone to Trader Joe's is it worth it?
Hi HappyMomma - we tip at the end of our rental and definitely no less then $20 but some of the cast members there are amazing and will keep refilling the water bottles and drinks from the bar. They even get our lunch for us even with the meal plan. With that being said obviously we tip more.
I can't wait to hear how the new cabanas are. Please report back when you get home. Have a great trip!!
May I ask how much the half day rental was?Forgot I had a question! We booked a half day cabana rental. It was about 200. A full day is 318.44. I usually keep meticulous notes but when I made my ressie my kids decided to talk to me at the same time and I only caught the 200 part and added a question mark to indicate that I didn't hear the complete total. But it was like 200/210.
Don't you just love that?! I called the car rental company two days ago - my kids were totally occupied with their tablets, so I though it was a good time to call. Sure enough, about 3 minutes into the call, my son had pressing questions that needed to be answered at that very moment- the more I have him the 'one minute' sign, the more the questions rolled in. Really???![]()

I asked this a while back and while someone confirmed they existed there was no more details.Looking for some information on outer building connecting rooms. At Poly, it seems like the most common configuration was a king room connecting to a 2 queen room. But I can't find much information about king rooms, garden view, outer building at GF. Does King connecting to 2 queen exist at GF? Does anyone know some room numbers or buildings?
