Last posts before I go nighty-night. Since these boards sleep in until 5:30 am and I have to be at the school by 6 for the field trip, I want to wish everyone a great day and happy weekend!

Thank you! Do most of the refurb room sleep 5? We need one of them to have s pull down bed
We are not really sure how many of the refurbished rooms have daybeds (we never really knew how many of the rooms had daybeds prior to the renovation either).
If you are a party of 5, with everyone over the age of 3, you will be given priority for a room with a daybed. You must be given a room that has sleeping space for everyone. If there is not a room with a daybed available, you will get a room with a rollaway cot.
If you are a family of 4, or 5 with a child under age 3, you need to request a daybed. Please note that requests are not guaranteed and depend on the number and size of parties staying at the same time as you.
Hi there!

super new to posting but have been reading this awesome forum for months now! Our trip to YC is next week and was just wondering if anyone has any tips for making the most of it with two little ones (3 year old twins)?

We've stayed at CBR but the treks to the pool and bus stop were a bit too much for them and we are really excited to be able to walk into Epcot! My husband and I have been debating club level, if not for this trip then for our next one in August, and any thoughts on that would be appreciated as well!!!

thanks so much for any advice!

to this thread and posting on the DIS.
I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list we keep on Page 1.
My tip to you- Don't miss the kiddie pool that is below/behind the stairs that go up to the Jib Slide. This is a great area for toddlers and rarely crowded. There is a little slide, too. I didn't actually know about this area until after my 2nd trip to the resort!
Sitting at MCO with three hours to spare, so here's a quick review of my recent stay at BC CL from 5/2 - 5/8 (we stayed an extra night at WL).
*snip*
Thank you so much for your review and candid feedback!
The lounge has homemade potato chips and yummy dip in the afternoon along with cookies and gummy candy. Great for a quick drink and snack, but they are displayed in bulk on platters, jars and bowls. In my experience, there weren't any single serve packages that you could bring along to the parks. Hope that helps your shopping!
Can't remember if you have posted before, or recently, so
Actually, this sign was at the main elevator, so they did still have to walk down the hall to access the rooms on the third floor. This picture was taken on Friday, but the sign was still there as of this morning.
At the airport now, so we are headed home. We had a great trip, and we booked a BB for POR in December, but we are already thinking about trying to change it to the BC. For now, I will definitely stay following this thread!
Glad that you will be sticking around to hang out with the cool kids.
Please let us know if (when) you change your booking to the Beach Club.

Happy Mother's Day BC/YC Moms!!
5 more days 'til we arrive!! Excited, but also at the point where I feel there's more than 5 days worth of stuff to cram in those days!!
Anyway, we are going to want to be at HS super early one day, for SWW, well before boats start running. (but when do they start running for those early HS days for further reference). I know we could walk, but we could get a little bit more sleep if we cabbed it.
So after that long explaination - how much (and how long) would a cab from BC to HS be? (It's not a crazy out of the way drive either, right?)
Thanks!
I wish I could give you answers! I have never been confident quoting definitively when the boats (or even buses) at the resorts start running.
A cab should not be too much money, or take very long, but I don't have exact figures.
Spending my Mother's Day in a post vacation haze. We had the most perfect vacation at the YC and Disney world. I really never wanted to leave. I was happy to come back to leaves on the trees and green everywhere. But I certainly don't want to start back to real life tomorrow. Thanks to everyone on this board for all the great info. I hope to keep following - still not sure where we will stay our next trip!
Glad you be sticking with us here on the thread.
We we there at the same time.
I agree about some of the CL staff.. That CJ needs a real attitude adjustment but everyone else was fine.
I also noticed that they never seem to say "enjoy the day" or anything when you walked by the CL desk.. Weird because YC, GL and WL always make a comment as you walk to the elevators.
With all that said, DD and I decided to move our July trip from Poly to BC CL.. She loved the food they offered and loved the new rooms.
Got it! I'll add you back onto the Be Our Guest list. I saw in a subsequent post that you booked Water View.
Hello there. This is my first post on the dis boards. I wanted to use it to say how fun this forum is! Also, myself, my wife and two children will be returning to the world in June. We are staying at the Beach club and I can't wait!

to this thread and to posting on the DIS.
I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.
Hi, we're hoping to return to the BC next year. We had a standard room last time and it overlooked Epcot and next to the secret door and had room to fit a rollaway in.
Looking to book a garden view and wondering if the Epcot view is also classed in the garden view category. And on the UK site it has the standard room sleeping unto 5 with some having a daybed but the garden view rooms it has only 4 and no mention of a daybed. I'm wondering if some of the garden view rooms do come with daybeds or if they are smaller and will not take a rollaway. I'm sure in the U.S. Site they state garden view can sleep up to 5!?
Thanks for clarifying.

back!
I'm not sure how many rooms at the Beach Club have daybeds, or where they are located. I do know that prior to the refurbishment, only one of the GV rooms on the 5th floor (club level) had a daybed.
