2013....where ARE YOU!?!?!

Hi everyone!!
My family is looking to book a January 2013 trip but we can't!
I was under the impression that you could usually book 500 days in advance but the website keeps saying that you can only book through 12/31/2012. Is this usual? Any ideas about when 2013 will open up??

I am pretty sure that the deals for 2013 are usually released in August, is that correct? Hoping for free dining on a trip right around the Super Bowl!

You can book a room only reservation now by calling, but you can't book online. Even though the rates for 2013 haven't been released, you will be charged a deposit based on 2012 rates, then it will be adjusted.

If you want to book a package, you have to wait until those are released. They are usually released during the summer. According to Mousesavers, room and package rates for 2012 were released in June 2011. Packages for the previous few years were released in August of the preceding year.

And just a bit more information. If you were to call and book a room only now, it you will be charged the highest rate from this year. So, your deposit will be based off of that. When the new rates are released, your total costs will be adjusted as needed.

I too am patiently, not so patiently, waiting until the 2013 rates come out, difference being I am not planning my trip until late Sept. Do not stress, you will have plently of time once the rates come out, however if you are a bit worried about the room, then go ahead and book the room only and once the 2013 rates are out, upgrade to your pkg.

That is what I would do if I were concernced at all. Just my opinion.
