Already looks like a bunch of us will be there in August! Not afraid of heat? I am a little, but we are planning on taking it easy. And (ducking) not going to Disney. Can I still play??
Somebody said shopping--oh yeah. Hoping to get some back-to-school stuff for the kids in the nick of time. And pool time, eating 'Murican food, etc etc...
Have started a PTR on the dark side, if anyone is interested... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3061939
Of course you can still play
. Some of our favourite Orlando experiences have been non-Disney related (hmmmm....probably should not have said that out loud on the Disboards
but oh well
). We are always wary of the heat but try to plan accordingly. Lots of pool time, and all waterparks (no theme parks for us). We also plan a few indoor days (the official "Plan B"!) in case a hurricane skirts the area and drives us inside for a bit.
We LOVE the Orlando shopping
. The Premium Outlets, the Nike Clearance Store, and the Florida Mall are all must-do's for us. We are also planning on visiting the Mall at Millenia for the first time this August. So many deals to be had, and air conditioned Heading over to check out your PTR!
Can I still play??
May 11th until the 24th for our fourth family trip. Staying at Port Orleans Riverside in a Royal Room. Second year and a row that I'm spending my birthday at Walt Disney World.
. Oh well, Disney is supposed to bring out the kid in all of us, right?

My Husband and I just returned from our first visit to WDW (January 14-20). We stayed at POR and LOVED it!!!!! It was our honeymoon
