2013 package pricing release date!

Don't know if someone has already posted this in an existing thread...

This morning, I was checking the WDW website for package pricing for Feb--as I do every day--and instead of the usual popup re: 2013 package pricing not being available yet, I got a popup stating prices would be released on July 11th!

My travel agent that I normally book with says that she can book me as soon as Wednesday! Oh duh I guess she meant NEXT Wednesday, the 11th LOL!

Well, this IS good news! Now I can actually plug in the real amount of vacation into our budget instead of the amount based on 2012. This is going to help ALOT!!!!

So we are looking at June 2013, but if we book now does that effect our possibility of getting a better discount later? I know you can apply current offers - but I'm wondering if we are already "booked" why would they send us a pin? Thoughts? Not trying to hijack thread.

We're in the same boat as you....We're going in June 2013 and we're going to wait to book until just before December, when our 180 day window to book ADR's will happen. (I want to make sure we have our package before I book ADR's so I can tie everything to that)

I don't know that it will make a difference if you book when they come out or wait...We've been watching the history of the discounts, and there's been a public discount offered for June. I'm hoping for a pin code too. All we can do is keep trying!! But at the very least, there should be some kind of discount offered. (I hope!!!) We're between 3 resorts right now and we're going to wind up chooseing the one where we can get the best rate.

It's so odd, it seems like they used to do the codes for __% off Deluxe resorts, __% off Moderates and __% off Values. Now it's only a % off a CERTAIN deluxe or moderate and a lower % for another deluxe... it makes it hard to plan!!

YEAH! I guess when i chatted a cast member yesterday online and they said rates for 2013 would be released very very soon they weren't joking!
