I keep seeing these prices whilst my husband is set on driving.I just looked at Jetblue $945 for 5 of us.
Even though Islip is 10 minutes from us, the price to fly southwest, with parking for a week at Islip is more than Jetblue + LIRR + the Airtrain..
As soon as Disney leaks it is when you'll know. Normally this is a couple weeks but things can vary. I remember back in 2010 when I nailed the date, it was only a few days before it went live.
I hope I did this right! How do I make sure that I am notified when you find out about free dining? I too can only go if Free Dining is offered![]()
Jetblue flies to Orlando?!?
I'm gambling by booking day after Thanksgiving, but it seems is usually starts the day after when they have it. *fingers crossed*
Several flights a day from NY. I've been using JetBlue for Disney for 7 or 8 years now, maybe longer.
I've heard online that CMs are blocked out from using their dining discounts for the late summer season when FD is usually offered. Is this a good sign?
I don't think one necessarily has anything to do with the other TBH.
Maybe. I heard that this was the same case in years past. When free dining came out for these late summer dates, CMs would lose their discount. Of course, I could be wrong, I'm just trying to get any scrap of information I can find.

Thanks! Dumb ?? How do I subscribe to these posts to make sure I know ahead of time? I have booked a trip with my sister's family (her family's first time EVER) but we will have to cancel our vacation if free dining isn't offered.

I fly out of Buffalo so may be quite different. I bought our tickets for September when the dates were first released, from Southwest. I got straight through both ways for $750 less then what they were a few days ago. Prices change a lot day to day. I was always told the best time is about 3 months before travel time or check Tuesday and Wed. I forgot which day but one has lower prices.
I have tried JetBlue but they never have a nonstop, if it is it's a lot more expensive. There are 5 of us in our family and we go every year or every 2. I have paid as much as 1500 but 1250 is the norm. I paid 1149 this time. We normally travel in July, August and once in December. It's like a darn game because of our family size. I hate to spend so much money just to get there. I only use JetBlue and Southwest because I refuse to pay for luggage.
