My kids trick or treated last year on Halloween and we had a hurricane come through the day before...and we live in PA...Crazy! So I'm hoping were good going to Disney for Halloween this year

Not sure if he will start a new thread or post it in the one I linked to above. Whenever it is posted, you won't be able to miss it. It will stay at the top of the "new posts" from everyone thanking him, so just click on new posts throughout the evening and you'll find it. It will likely start with "ladies and gentlemen". Here's what I have so far. Free dining is coming.

You'll be able to book beginning May 9, and will include arrival dates from September 2-25. Value resorts will recieve the quick service dining plan for free, and he moderates and deluxes will recieve the regular plan.

It varies, but he doesn't post without knowing the release date, so you will have that info tonight, as well.

He just updated the thread and states that the new free dining promo will be released May 9 and will be for September 2-25. Quick service for values and regular DDP for mods and deluxe resorts.

There are going to be some people VERY unhappy about no August dates.

As long as they have eligibility at your resort then yes. For free dining, your check in date is the only thing that matters. Good luck!

As long as your check in date falls within the promo dates you can have the FD discount applied to your entire stay, up to 14 nights.

So excited! Our trip is set for Śeptember 25- october 6!
Sadly we have some family who can't go until the 26th, is there any chañce that there might be a later announcement including that date?

We went just days after hurricane came across Atlantic and directly hit WDW in Sept 2004 and I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) they said that was the first time they ever took a direct hit. There was also another hurricane coming up the Gulf the same time we were there that week (the 2nd part of our vacation was supposed to be in Lido Key, but decided to stay put in WDW) and weather behaved. It was only cloudy, which is a good thing at that time of year and we practically had the whole park to ourselves.

Only the check in date matters for free dining. Look at it this way, though, they could extend the room offer OR if nothing is offered, the crowd levels for your week are likely to be amazingly low.

Sorry, you are out of luck. Your check IN date must fall within the FD promo dates.
