I have a question will we learn what is excluded tonight? Wondering about LM at AOA and RR at POR..

Danny already said that the LM rooms appear to be included this time. Not sure about the royal rooms.

I am super excited!!! My trip started out as a budget no frills trip. Then we realized that we can't go the original week so decided to go a week early. This puts us in free dining. DH says that he prefers the sit down meals and how much to upgrade. So I told him and he said fine do that. BUT if the DDP is at the mods then moving to a mod is only $80 more than upgrading the QSDDP at the values. I am going to sneak in the upgrade and not tell the family until it is time to put the address in the GPS!

Danny's original post, when I wrote that, said he would give details tonight. He normally says he will give info 20 days out, so lead me to believe he was going to say the release date was May 16.

Within a few minutes of his post saying he would announce the dates tonight, he came right back and said the new FD release date was now May 9. And I have no idea why he did it that way.

I'm just glad there are some firm dates out, very surprised the last week of August was not included. I knew there would be a free dining offer coming, but really thought August 25 would be the start date. They must have an unusually high resort occupancy rate during that week this year.

That I will believe when I see it. Even if they get included in the Disney Visa offer, I just have a hard time believing they will be in the GP offer. Don't you think?

Yep. Danny was skeptical, too, but he said he looked through all of the details and couldn't find anything that said they are excluded. If they really are eligible, I think they will be gone in about 10 minutes.

I agree. Some people have already searched this morning and some September dates already show no availability ready. Very weird for them to include those rooms.

A few of us were discussing this as well. I'm willing to bet that it's a VERY VERY limited number of those rooms available for the promo...maybe just a handful. This way they can say they were included, but just sold out, and people wouldn't be angry with Disney over it.

I will be very anxious to see the first post from the person who got a GP FD discount applied to those LM rooms

No LM rooms available for 9/7 to 9/15. I tried booking them last week and figured if fd was included we would just change rooms...

Woo hoo! I switched our trip from August 21-28 to September 2-9 a week ago because I was afraid FD wouldn't be offered that early in August-- seems like my hunch was right! The last week of August must be catching on with families from the Northeast trying to get a trip in right before school starts!

Hmmm, I bet the royal rooms will be included. They're an upgrade from a standard, unlike the LM rooms at AoA, which are the cheapest at the resort. Only a guess on my part!

So we're looking at a May 9th Disney Visa release with the GP coming out a few days later?

It's about $18 to go from QS to Regular.
