*2013* epcot food & wine festival 9/27-11/11

Actually, I missed the last post. PFTS is a much more likely possibility!

PFTS does not include park admission. It does, however, include all the food and beverage samples you want. (They are not the same samples you get at the outside kiosks).

can you pick up the tickets ahead of time or close to the day/time only?

Unless they change things, seminar/demonstration tickets can be picked up anytime - on the day of the seminar/demonstration only. You can't pick them up a day early, but you could pick them up a few hours early.

If we already see the seminar/event showing up in our MDE app do we need to check in a get paper tickets as well or just show them our reservation in the app at the start of the seminar?

There's no way to know this. Last year there was no MDE app. I'm betting that because use of the app is not yet widespread, there will still be paper tickets.

I bought the DFB mini guide for the F&W and it has a map of the booths. I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. If it is okay to post it I will post that page. It isn't a downloadable version but has all the booths listed.

Oo.. I would love to see that!

I don't think you should post it as it comes from a book that is being sold. I believe those may be copyrighted.

Thanks for the input. That is what I sort of thought but really wasn't sure and didn't want to do something I wasn't suppose to. Hopefully it will be posted soon in a public place.

Yes, welcome center 9-9, kiosks and Chase lounge 11-9 (11-10 on Fridays and Saturdays).

Extra magic hours not included.

Don't remember there being much coffee at the Fest; we like to taste wines we wouldn't ever think of buying, or are not able to. The Godiva Chocolate frozen coffee is yummy!:thumbsup2

I think that would be an awesome thing for them to explore. Set up a coffee booth with coffee styles from around the world.

I know the F&W is known mainly for the wine, but as a coffee drinker, I would like to know some of the best coffee around the world, hot or cold..thx!

There is a new Starbucks outlet in Future World at the Fountain View.

The France Pavilion has an iced coffee but it is very sweet.

The Italy Pavilion Gelato Stand has a selection of coffees and an Espresso Gelato "Affogato" - Fresh Italian Espresso poured over Fior Di Latte Gelato, Topped with Chocolate Coffee Beans $9.75.
Caffe/Coffee
Espresso - $2.75 single/$4.00 double
Cappuccino, Caffe Latte $5.00
Cappuccino - Hazelnut, Vanilla Caramel $5.50
Hot Chocolate $4.00
Caffe Americano $3.00

There are also non-Disney Coffee Booths on the World Showcase side of the park.

Oh isn't there an alcoholic coffee on the menu somewhere? Jammin Jamaican coffee at the American Adventure pavillion (Coffee vanilla caramel and Kahlua).
Also in the tequila bar in Mexico there is a wonderful coffee margarita that's like a smoothie

The 3 festival booths offering coffee:

American Adventure Coffee Cart
Cozy up to this all-American coffee stand and imbibe on a cup filled to the brim with rich aromas. Get down with a Shakin’ Jamaican Coffee made with Kahlua—served hot or cold, and flavored with your choice of vanilla or caramel!

Belgium
Chilled coffee featuring Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

Ireland
Chilled Irish Coffee featuring Bunratty Potcheen

Considering the causeway event at Swan & Dolphin on 10/18. Can anyone compare it to PFTS for me? It looks very " light" in terms of # of food items offered and it is $80 this year. We love PFtS and have already booked for 10-12 & 10-19. This would be in addition to.

Potcheen is amazing and strong. My
Mom and I visited Bunratty Meadery in 2003 and fell in love with their beverages.

I did It last year. There are a couple of threads here about it

Others love it I was so so. Long lines for food, same table saving issues you see at PFTS but I generally could find a place to sit

Food was good, but I think doing this and PFTS back to back was too much for me.
