2013 dates

Now! If you have the money and then reshop once on the cruise and chose the cheaper!:)

Thanks, I just got done switching the 2012 Dream to the 2012 Fantasy. It was only 500.00 more to go in 2012 vs 2013. I think I have set some kind of record for switching reservations around. I figure after the Fantasy starts sailing the prices are going to really increase like the Dream did.

Still waiting to see what the other sips are doing for 2013:surfweb: I went to book the Easter Fantasy cruise a few hrs after they released them and all that was left was cat8 and higher which is more than we wanted to pay so I booked the wk before christmas instead.
Hoping that some lower cat. will open back up for that sailing when the other ships open up for booking. if not we will just book another cruise line for Easter and wait till Dec and sail on the Fantasy:cloud9:

Any more speculation about what might be offered out of LA? Why is it that they can't do a 2 week Hawaii trip during the summer?

I believe they are still planning to sail Alaska Summer 2013. They seem to have no problems filling the Wonder in that time frame.

I really wish they would just tell us when they will release the rest of the itineraries. I can live with Spring 2012, just tell me that! :headache:

Why April? That gives only 8 months until 2013 actually happens, have they released them that late before? I know they released Hawaii late, but I thought that was because it was an extra special sailing, or they just weren't selling the MR sailings.

When we booked our 1st DCL cruise, it was right before Halloween 2005 for a Feb 2007 cruise. Back then they would release 2 yrs out but not the entire year at once. They'd release Jan -Apr/May ish then a few mos later, release til the end of the year. While we were on our Feb 2007 cruise, they had just released through the end of 2008. We were able to book a Thanksgiving cruise while onboard and still get reasonable pricing.
I actually prefer this way. Keeps the TAs with a shorter list of people to book for. :lmao:

is rumored to come out in April 2012. I just do not understand why release dates are so secretive??? :confused3

The summer 2007 Med cruises were announced in March 2006.

Weren't the 2008 PC & summer cruises released in March 2007? I know that we had booked a date with friends on the 12/9/06 cruise for 12/07 but we all switched to the PC repos.

The 2008 Panama Canal cruises were released in January 2007. I know - because I booked the westbound one - much to my DH's horror!

Specialty cruises and 2nd half of the year cruises have been released in the Spring of the previous year of sailing, but to my knowledge they have never waited until spring to release regular itinerary winter month cruises. ie January, February etc. Like a pp mentioned that would only be 8 months out for the January cruises. :confused3

Yes, that's right, bcuz that's when / why we booked our back-to-backs on the Wonder for summer 2008. It was about a 16 month wait for us from when we booked until our late July cruises. We had already done the Mexican Riviera cruise in 2005 (their first year doing those) and didn't want to repeat. FWIW we had booked our July 2, '05 MR around 11 months out and the prices were already increasing - at that time I booked it over the phone with a DCL rep and she told me those cruises had been released in early MAY of that year (2004)!!
