2013 Candlelight Processional Watch

It had been rumored that Le Cellier would not be offered this year since it is now signature for both lunch and dinner.

I can confirm this. I got a call from the Grand Floridian Itinerary Planning Office today asking me to choose a different restaurant as LeCellier was not offering the package this year. Bummer!

My apologies if this question has already been addressed...but for 2013 dates, do we know what time we need to make our reservations if we want to go to the 6:45pm show? For previous years, I believe it was between 3:30pm and 4:15pm, but I *think* I read that it's slightly different this year?

It used to be this in 2011 (from easywdw):

Show 1 (5:00pm): Dining reservation between 1:45pm-2:45pm
Show 2 (6:45pm): Dining reservation between 3:30pm-4:30pm
Show 3 (8:15pm): Dining reservation between 5:00pm-6:00pm

But my lunch last year was around 1 and this year it is 12:45, so those times are a little off.

Also I was able to book a 4:30 dinner for the 8:15 show...so that is a bit different as well.

I have a 3:40 reservation for Teppan Edo due to the glitch but it does not indicate show time. I'm assuming its for the second show. I'm calling today to make sure my reservation will be honored since ressies are officially opening tomorrow.

Let us know what they said...I was told yes when I called...

I called yesterday to do the same thing. Repeatedly the cm on the phone kept telling me that the CP diinner package was not available until 7/9. I kept telling her several times, "you don't understand, I already have a confirmation." I explained the error on Disney's part and she told me that she would place me on hold to see if my confirmation number would be honored. She came back on and said, "congratulations on your good fortune, it will be honored." I'm doing a 12:30 lunch at Tokyo Dining and have the first CP which is just what I wanted, we also have an ADR that evening for Monsieur Paul at 7:15

Big day is tomorrow!!!!

Do you just call the regular number? 407-939-5277 to book the reservation? Or is there a special number you can call?

And further to the above, is there a special time tomorrow that the CP packages are available?

And can they be booked online?

TIA!

Yes, the regular ADR line. I always call 407-WDW-DINE.

Last year, both online and phone started at 7am. I expected 6am online like regular ADRs, but that wasn't the case.

Has anyone seen prices for this year? I'm hoping Biergarten for lunch is still substantially less than everything else. We now have 4 Disney adults and only 1 Disney kid so those $60 per person prices become really hard to swallow.

One more question as I prepare to book tomorrow...do you think it will be the same narrator Nov 29-Dec 4 (since it's not listed TBA)? I am considering booking a package Dec 1 and again Dec 3 just in case one is NPH!

My dates are Dec 1 & 2. My first time, so I will be happy with whoever it is! :goodvibes

Is it dark enough at 5:00 for the "candlelight" portion of the show to be effective? Not sure how early it gets dark there at that time of year (first week of December). I was originally planning to do the 8:00 show but now I'm leaning toward an earlier one. Last minute indecision is really bad!

We have done show at all times and it works well no matter when.

There is no real "candlelight" effect. Stage is well lite at all times, so unless you are the parent of one of the kids as they walk in, you won't really care.

When kids were younger we were glad we did earlier as they were engaged whole time.

I would pick meal time that works best for you.

I had a question about booking the CP so I just called DVC member services and the cm that I spoke with was very surprised when I mentioned that I would be calling tomorrow(July 9) to book the CP. She said that they have been told nothing and have not had their annual refresher training for updates for this year's program. I still plan to call but is it possible tomorrow is not the day?
