I'm still shocked about people being bumped from the BC. We are going for our first trip in June, and it looks like the BC is fully booked (no availability on Disney's website). We have meals planned around being at the BC, and even booked a portrait session. I would not be happy being moved to another resort. Makes me wonder if they overbook on purpose, assuming a certain number of people cancel, or if special guests (like movie stars) can bump others out of their long-standing reservations. I've read about that happening to someone being bumped out of the biggest suite at the POLY.

That is definitely a bummer. I'm glad we have a room there next month (at least I hope we do). I wonder if there have been problems since the new website. I have no proof of that, just curious. We were probably lucky to get a room because we don't normally book very far in advance, but I'll have to take that into account for our next trip.

I'm getting so incredibly excited! Tomorrow is my 180 day mark. I've sent my reservation requests to the IPO and I am going let them make my ADRs for me. I've heard that it's really hard to get BOG. I thought I'd heard that the online system doesn't actually work on day 180, but does on 179? If I want the BOG reservation, should I call first thing tomorrow morning, or does the 179 day thing apply to the phone as well?

I guess it just depends on the week. We are looking to come over from POR for 6/15-6/19 and there is availability at almost every category of room at both YC and BC. My guess is that a lot of people (who were able) booked early summer trips since the current promo ends 6/14.

Also, if even just one night at the resort is sold out during your trip, it will show no availability for the entire duration.

As for bumping, in your case, if they called to bump you, I would explain why that is not at all convenient, based on what you posted.. They could either bump you to a higher category within the same resort or simply leave you as you are and move to the next name on the list. No worries!

FWIW, we were bumped out of our TPV room at GF RPC back in 2009. We were moved up to deluxe RPC room as compensation.

Tomorrow is my 180 day mark too. I talked with the IPO as well as disney dining. Right now, the computer is glitchy and will only let you make an ADR on your 180 day mark--not the plus 10. So, to make all of your reservations for your trip, you can either call right at 7 am east coast time or let the IPO do it for you. Hope this helps!

Natebenma our plans have changed and we are no longer heading to the world at the end of May. We are now looking at June 28-July7 and not sure where we are staying. Unfortunately I am a resort changer .
We have tentatively booked the Contemporary because of the proximity to MK for the craziest week of the year, but my girls have watched the YouTube videos of SAB and the Jib Slide and want to stay with BC/YC. I wish discounts would come out so I know what to do...the type of discount may make the difference for us....

The worst thing about changing dates...I had to cancel our dinner ressie at BOG

It is our first time to stay at a Disney resort and our first visit to Disney since 1996! My mom just turned 80 and this will be a special trip for her to attend Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival. We will be doing the Gardens of the World tour at Epcot and Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK. All the information provided here has been such a help in planning our trip. Thanks.

I just made our ADRs 2 weeks ago at the 180 day mark and was able to book everything for the +10 including BOG. From what I hear, the website has been very glitchy. I would try online and if that doesn't work, phone them in. Good luck!

The Flower and Garden Festival is wonderful! This will be our first year in the last 5 years that we won't be there to see it Hope you enjoy it!

The same thing happened to us - had to move dates up twelve days and list all our great ADRs- I'm going to keep checking though- good luck with yours!

This is our 4th time doing the photo shoot. They do them at the Poly, BC, and GF. This will be our first time trying it at BC. We reserved the mini-session, which is 20 minutes for $150. The assigned photographer takes lots of pictures in that time (some of all of us, just the boys, and individuals), and then downloads them to a memory stick afterwards. They used to give us a CD, but last year, they switched to a memory stick. I have received some wonderful pictures using this service. As a mom, I can NEVER have enough pictures of my sweet little boys!!!!!

While they all were really nice I think the ones at BC were our absolute favorite!

Where did they do shots? We've only done this at the Poly. There are so many wonderful places for shots there, with all the flowers and waterfalls in and around the main building.

Today for lunch I went to a local fish place to have lobster rolls, because of past comments that the lobster rolls at Hurricane Hanna's are so good. I should have bought Sunken Treasure ingredients while we were out.

I know I am counting the days until I can try one of those lobster rolls, and a lobster omlet for breakfast!!! All you can eat crab legs at Cape May. Yummmmmm..... There isn't any good seafood here in Ohio in March!

This is a question for anybody who has stayed BC CL recently, are they still giving out water in plastic bottles? I have read in a different thread that some resorts only have water in glass bottles. We just want to know if we should stop and buy a case to have in our room.

We're there more reports of being moved?!? I just saw the one recnetly but may have missed others. It has me worried too. Our week at BC is pretty full as well.
