Good morning, BC Friends!

I am starting to get very excited for our upcoming trip. We arrive in WDW three weeks from today and make the move from AKL to BC on November 2.

Both our daughters and their travel companions have everything set (finally) and we are ready to celebrate a lot of good things.

I cannot believe we have been married 40 years this year! Most days it seems as if we just started dating in HS 45 years ago. Older DD will celebrate her 35th birthday with this month too, and her guy will have his in October also.

My husband's last CT scans gave us some renewed hope for continued improvement from his stroke and he was able to stop taking coumadin for the first time in 32 months.

And, to top it off he presented me with a gorgeous new anniversary band that I am dying to wear. I love diamonds and this is a pave' ring that I will probably only wear on special occasions. I am planning to make all of our dinners while on this trip "special occasions" so I can feel justified in wearing it!

I am very much looking forward to seeing Teena again as well as meeting up with many of you. Nannette, I will see you at AKL (we both have our BC/YC pins so it shouldn't be hard to find one another in the CL!

If anyone who is going to be at BC/YC from 11/2-11/9 wants to get together, please PM me and we can exchange cell numbers.

I am excited to say that our family will be returning to the BC/YC next summer! This year (in April) we had a great 10 nights at YC CL and next summer, we will hop over to the other side and are booked at BC GV CL for another 10 nights from 8/16/14 - 8/26/14!!!



So, what should I know about the GV CL rooms?

Oh, I "deserve" this ring!! But as a piano teacher it would be difficult to wear it every day. I will love looking at it every time I do wear it though!

Absolutely!!! EVERY day is a special occasion.

I agree 100%. Make every single day count because you never know when it will turn 180 degrees on you. My philosophy is that if you wake up in the morning and the sun comes up you have absolutely no reason to be anything other than HAPPY!

I won't be back until the 1st and then back to work on November 3rd and 4th. Sorry I'm going to miss you!!! Hope you have a super time. Although it's only been about seven weeks, it feels like forever since I've had my hands on that child. And skyping with her regularly actually makes it harder, especially when she cries when we hang up. Just this past week she started talking in real sentences. And it's pretty non-stop!!

I think it will be superb! YC was great, but my kids kept wanting to go over to the BC side while we were there. Now they get their wish.

In order to get from BC to EPCOT, do we walk by BWI, or is that on the way to DHS? Does anyone have a map showing YC/BC/BWI together?

Just trying to plan some QS lunches, and on days when we have a late start (pool AM), I was thinking we could do Hurricane Hanna's one day, and Boardwalk Bakery the other before heading out to the parks...

Nope, you would not walk by the Boardwalk Bakery on way to Epcot or DHS. They have nice sandwiches in the Marketplace too. And if you are going to Epcot, there are loads of great places for QS lunch!!

Thanks, Teena. I know there are many great QS places, but with a dietary restrictions (grain & dairy-free), I'm scouring menus to find QS restaurants I can eat at.

Ok, question! We are just 54 days away from our family trip, will we be able to get magic bands? All 4 rooms are booked with my cast discount and we are using the Military Salute tickets, my SIL will activate 6 and my husband is 1007 disabled vet so he also gets 6. The vouchers we purchased cannot be added to my MDE because they are turned in for tickets when activated at the park. We plan on doing this arrival day, which will be a non-park day, at the International Gateway.

Nothing pops up about magic bands when we all did on line check in, so I am curious how this will work. Teena, maybe you can help since it is a cast reservation!!

Here is a map by Robo. The walks are marked. It is very quick to get to Epcot from the Beach Club. And to get to DHS you walk past the YC, cross the bridge, walk past the BWV's down the path that is on the same side of the waterway as the BW. You come out along side of the parking lot of HS.
