Good morning BC/YCers! I was wondering if the BC gift ship sold MB accessories?

Has anyone cut there bands down to make them fit or just removed the outer grey part? Thanks!

My brothers girlfriend pulled the grey off!! I was scared to do it to mine, but she didn't even hesitate. I tried it on and like it much better for my small wrist. Still haven't pulled it off mine yet though

In August we had a SV room too, looking out at front of resort. I enjoyed people watching, looking down, and looking straight ahead it was trees. The only thing I didn't like was we had a huge balcony that was shared with 4 rooms. Even though most of the time I was the only one out on the balcony, and I had an end room, it made me uncomfortable.

SUE M - I saw those rooms over the front of the YC while waiting for the bus last August and thought they would be great rooms if traveling with an extended family. You said there are four rooms that share the balcony? Do you remember what floor you were on, If my memory is correct, there is only one floor of those large/shared balconies, no? Do you remember the exact room number you had and was there a daybed in your room. Last August the package we were offered for the YC was for a standard view and that seems like it could be nice - again if you are traveling with extended family. Thanks for any info you have/remember. We totally fell in love with the Yacht Club and were loyal WL fans prior.

We just got back into our room. HS was PACKED!!! I mean, crazy packed, like I have seen it during 4th of July week! Here is a tip that we have discovered for MK. Go on the days that the MNSSHP is scheduled! It's never busy on those days and you rarely will even need a FP. Most rides are all walk on. Anyway, my son and I are relaxing in the room now while hubby is at his beverage seminar. We have had really good Mousekeeping while here and a towel animal almost every day! While walking back from HS, I really paid attention to the balconies, and I did see 3 (but only 3!) that have the small balconies like you see at BC. They were kinda on a corner on the lagoon side of the resort. I would think the chances of getting these small balconies would be very, very slim. I wish I knew how to post pics on here from my cell phone and I would post some of these. I have a Samsung Galaxy II if anyone can help! Our room does have a daybed as well that my son loves sleeping in. The room we had at the BC had one, too. I had to do laundry the other day here and the dryers at the YC dried the clothes faster and better than the one at BC. Any questions anyone has, let me know!

It really worked for me unlocking the door! You had to hold it up to the Mickey head so it would be Mickey head on Magic Band to Mickey Head on door. Same for the park entrance... Mickey head to Mickey head.. remember that and you are set!!

Yep they had a wall of stuff... located by the back register in the clothes section.

The free accessory is the year 2013 glows in the dark! I saw a lot of them, but didn't know where they got them... then I heard when I got home that the front desk had them if you asked, so worth the ask when you arrive!

Good morning, BC Friends!

I am starting to get very excited for our upcoming trip. We arrive in WDW three weeks from today and make the move from AKL to BC on November 2.

Both our daughters and their travel companions have everything set (finally) and we are ready to celebrate a lot of good things.

I cannot believe we have been married 40 years this year! Most days it seems as if we just started dating in HS 45 years ago. Older DD will celebrate her 35th birthday with this month too, and her guy will have his in October also.

My husband's last CT scans gave us some renewed hope for continued improvement from his stroke and he was able to stop taking coumadin for the first time in 32 months.

And, to top it off he presented me with a gorgeous new anniversary band that I am dying to wear. I love diamonds and this is a pave' ring that I will probably only wear on special occasions. I am planning to make all of our dinners while on this trip "special occasions" so I can feel justified in wearing it!

I am very much looking forward to seeing Teena again as well as meeting up with many of you. Nannette, I will see you at AKL (we both have our BC/YC pins so it shouldn't be hard to find one another in the CL!

If anyone who is going to be at BC/YC from 11/2-11/9 wants to get together, please PM me and we can exchange cell numbers.
