2012-where will the ships be?

Disney is Building the Vacation Club Property in Hawaii.
This will be a great tie in if they decide to mix in some Hawaiian Cruises....

I guess they will be really touching some uncharted Disney territory there.
Imagine all the Hawaiian FUN

^^^ Yes that would be nice too. Lots of Lilo and Stitch theming going on there. I just would prefer if the Magic sailed from NYC or Boston to Bermuda or go up and down the East Coast of the USA and Canada. It would be so awesome not to have to fly anywhere to get on a Disney ship. ;)

You mean I beat you to it?Usually Im right behind you.:)

(btw I agree with the security issue about cc and why people were not let off the Magic while she was stuck there. Not many people know that the island was a former smugglers island.Just saw that today when I was looking for something else.)

Im just coming off my week off, and go away to the keys to go diving in May.Then Oct would be my next cruise.

I can see any number of things for the Magic. The big unknown to me, is,what is the economy world wide going to be when they try something.(I think that has something to do with the low booking for the Med. I could be wrong)

Economy is a factor, and Oil prices rising again, so releasing cruises in advance causes issues, Summer cruises in Europe for 2012, were plan A, we will have to see if they hold their nerve or go for planB.

Hawaiian, cruises have been on the agenda and rumoured for a number of years, I herd so much about them last year, I got it wrong and thought it would be 2011, with the Wonder on the west coast.

NOTE, in July 2007 in the Med, the Captain suggested the Baltic, (Northern Europe) it took until 2010, to do them. Hawaii has been rumoured for a long time.

I personally think its a goal, and they need a *sparkle* in 2012 on the west coast with the Wonder, with Dream in the Caribbean all year, and Fantasy to arrive. The one and only think left to do with the Wonder at LA,-apart from a repeat of Alaska is some 14 night cruises to Hawaii. So many people ask for these, perhaps, the same as the Baltic limited to say 4 x 14 night, to spice things up, with Alaska taking up the slack.

There should be no problem switching to the other ships or different itinerary. The only cruise you can't apply the on board offer is the Maiden Voyages of the new ships...plus you can even switch on line and keep the discount and obc (we just did this last month). Just go into your reservation and click change sail date and go from there.

I did not know that you could move an onboard booking to another date online and keep the OBC and discount! I thought you could only do that on the phone with a DCL rep. Wow! :thumbsup2
