I'm trying to get an idea of how much it would be for 4 of us to go a 7night cruise. I would like the cheapest room that would fit 4. When it says fits 3or4 which one is it...3or4. On our upcoming cruise we had to get 2 rooms for 4 people..We got a standard inside stateroom.

When it says it sleeps 3 or 4, it means that some but not all of the cabins in that category have a bunk for the fourth person. Whether a cabin that sleeps 4 is available in that category depends on what is already booked. The best way to check to see if that is available is to put in all 4 people and try to book it. It will show you if that category is available and if you go further into the reservation process, you can see which cabins are available for 4 people.

If all the cabins that have the extra bunk are booked, it is going to show that category as not being available even though it is available for families with 1-3 people.

The DCL website will only show you rooms that will accommodate the number of people you are trying to book. So if you are searching for a room for 4 people, it will only show you available options that will sleep at least 4 people.
