2012 Point charts

Anyone here have any idea when the 2012 point charts for DVC resorts will be released? I know the past couple of years they have been very late (January??) due to the reallocation of points. I cannot imagine that they will do this 3 years in a row, call me crazy now!!! I have never really paid attention to the release of point charts in the past since they didn't change significantly from year to year. I always go on a ballpark amount and feel comfortable with that til they were released. I am looking at April/May 2012 and since Easter in so late in 2011 (4/24) its not a fair comparison. I need to rent out some of my points and want to be sure I keep enough.Anyone have an educated guess?

I would be surprised if they are out before January and I would not be surprised by another reallocation. The premier season dates are always the week before and week after Easter. Easter was April 4 this year and premier dates were March 28 to April 10. Next year it's April 24 and premier dates are April 17 to 30. 2012 is April 8, so the seasons should be close to this year.

We called MS yesterday asking about points for a cruise in Jan 2012. The CM said they should have the points available in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the replies....DebbieB, I have been using 2010 as a guideline but the difference between 2010 and 2011 was so extreme even accounting for the Easter holiday I really didn't want to rent too many points and then be short in 2012.
Lost In Neverland....2 weeks would be great...plenty of time to rent points and make my plans.

I meant the season dates should be about the same as 2010. When they reallocated, I don't think they changed the season dates (except accounting for changes in holiday dates).

I wouldn't count on 2 weeks for DVC resorts. You can book cruises 2 years in advance so they may come out earlier. Plus cruise points don't have to be balanced like DVC resorts.

If you're talking about DCL points for 2012 I think they are already out.
At least Fantasy points are already out because I was doing some number crunching 2 days ago when Fanstasy was open for booking.

I think Lost In Neverland was talking about 2012 DCL points charts. They are already out. Who knows when the 2012 points charts for resorts will come out.
