2012 Point Charts are on the DVC website

My April 2012 trip will cost us 36 points less! That makes up for the big jump we had in our April 2011 trip. I wasn't a happy camper last year when the chart came out. But that was then... and this is now LOL

Anyone here willing to post the 2012 BW point charts? My DH used my computer while his was being fixed and lots of things do not work now (like being able to view the point charts..... "access denied").

For all of the WDW DVC resorts, it looks like there were no changes for 2012 (compared to 2011) except for the date changes for Thanksgiving and Easter. For 2012 November 21-23 will be Magic Season instead of Choice and April 1-14 will be in Premier Season instead of Magic. Other than those two changes, it appears that all other dates remain the same as they are in 2011.

HH had no changes at all. VB had minor date changes to reflect Thanksgiving and their Spring Break/Easter busy time for Premier Season. The GCV appears to have some other minor date modifications throughout the year.

Here is a direct link to the BWV chart without the need to go thru the Member site - 2012 BWV point chart. I hope your computer will allow access to that site!

Thanks for the link Doc....no go on opening that link either but I am pretty sure I have a good handle on the points needed for my dates. I needed to know the point srtucture for late April/early May got that from your post....thanks again.

That was probably because of the way Easter falls late in 2011. Easter is April 24 in 2011, April 8 in 2012. The week before and after Easter is always premier season.

Oh boy, now we can figure the actual points for a trip in 2012 to VGC and Aulani.

CodeSpyder has informed me that he's updated the DVC Planner universal app with the 2012 points charts and has submitted it to the iTunes Store for review.

Glad the points didn't change for 2012..it's the one year we are going the week after Xmas with the extended family (not our choice BTW!! lol) We are going to try and get a THV and I was hoping the points would remain the same for that crazy week!

Glad to hear that the points haven't changed we're planning on going for New Year's 2012 and then the first week of January 2012. Glad to hear that January will be a good value even if we have to pay more points for December 30th and 31st.
