Day 15 Tusker House Animal Kingdom Grand Floridian Café
It was a bright and early start for us today, as we made our way to Animal Kingdom for 08:00 ADR at Tusker House. This was our first visit for a safari breakfast, so did not know what to expect. Check in was quick and then we joined a queue for a photograph with Donald.
Once inside, I recognised the layout from our visit a few years previous when this was open for counter service. It is a self-service buffet with a good selection available. Drinks were replenished on a regular basis and during our stay Mickey, Daisy and Goofy visited us.
I am not much of a morning person with regards to dining early and so did not do the meal much justice.
With breakfast over, we headed over to Kilimanjaro Safari and managed to get on one of the first vehicles departing. Plenty of animals were out and about, which made a pleasant change.
Next up was to my favourite Disney show Festival of the Lion King. This was spoilt by a huge group of South American visitors who allowed their children to scream and run wild with no consideration for other guests.
On exiting the show, we managed a few photopass photos with Pocahontas and Chip & Dale.
