2012 Free Dining Watch and Wait HERE

I called and had a pin (didn't get an email). It was for free QS on a value or moderate during my stay 11/24-12/1. I booked it and upgraded to regular dining for $200. If they offer free dining to the general public, I will just change my reservation.

Some other Dis boards members found out this offer was suppose to be PIN related but, due to a glitch, was sent out without a PIN to everyone. It looked like a generic, open to the public, offer. It's apparently going to be open to the public later this summer/year. Sorry for any confusion. It looked non-PIN legit! At least everyone can have dates in mind for the Fall Happy planning!

I've been going down the last few years and FD has been offered the Sun after Pop Warner/American Youth Football week 12/11/11 it began. I'm extending my stay this year and PW/AYF ends on 12/9/12. i think these dates were released at the end of the summer.

I called Disney and was advised that there was a free dining pin associated with our name. We didn't receive an email or post card, I read about calling Disney in another thread.

Might anyone know how many days tickets you have to buy. We have AP's and a stack of one day tickets from other trips and since we are locals now I do not want to have to buy a lot of days.

Free dining requires the purchase of minimum 2 day park tickets.

Here's the scoop:
Must book by July 28, 2012. Chk in dates start Sep. 30, 2012...Last chk in date Dec 13, 2012.
There are a few blackout dates.
Of course, still requires the MYW pkg purchase, but ticket can still be cut to 2-day if I want to do that. (I have some tickets still, plus an AP, but I've yet to do all of the math)
While I am obviously VERY excited to get this, I still need to do something about the pending "Father/Son" trip in June...waitin' on those silly Minions!

No, you can just call and ask. I did this afternoon, but no codes for me. Will just have to wait.

Me too. I even moved my dates to include the dates mentioned on the PIN code emails that everyone has mentioned. To no avail, not for me. And I so want to go with Free Dining.

this is what I have been able to find:

2010: Oct 1 - 7 • Oct 22 - 28 • Nov 12 - 18 • Nov 27 - Dec 2 • Dec 10 - 21
2011: Oct. 1-6, Oct. 22- Nov. 3, Nov. 12 - 17, Nov. 26 - Dec. 1, Dec. 10 - 15

so it looks like they start the Saturday after Thanksgiving

FD is solely based on your check-in date. As long as your check-in date is included, you get free dining for up to 14 nights.
