2012 Free Dining Watch and Wait HERE

I am so upset I have my reservation booked for August21-28th and I called to get free dining for part of my stay and the CM told me this could not be done only if it was for the beginning of my stay? I assume this is accurate? She told me to keep checking as there is a possibiity they may extend the dates, but I am just totally bummed. Any help would be appreciated if any.

Give me your resort and party size and I'll check something for you.

After fighting with the server overload tonight, I got through!

I'm all set for Sept 6 - 11th at All Star Music with an upgrade to the regular Dining plan. Yes for FREE DINING and Night of Joy!

I can't either and I've been saying lots of UN-Disneylike words all weekend out of this frustration. We miss it by ONE week. Im seriously thinking about canceling the QS DP that I have purchased, because the more I think about it, I'd rather save the $700 (which is what 2-rooms worth of QS would cost me). I think in reality , knowing my family's eating habits, I could save a couple hundred dollars off that total by paying OOP.

just remember what disney did last year... the offered this later week in august first then offered fd for the start of the value week in july. I saw this happen last year and was afraid it was going to be offered the later week this year, so i was planning on changing my week if i needed to. we are now booked 08-25 after originally being booked 08-17. i am fortunate i can take vacation and days off whenever i need to. i would hold off on cancelling until the latest you possibly can. fingers crossed it will be offered again. it saved me 1300.00 but I had to be put in a royal room at POR,but its all good, it will be my granddaughters first visit!! so excited she will be 17 months and loves minnie and of course kermit- everytime she sees him she says cool!! lol

POP has availability now! I was able to switch my reservation from CBR to POP a bit ago....YAY!

We were able to change ours last night from Sports to POP! Congrats to you! Last night there were no preferred pool view rooms but this morning there were. We are all for the standard rooms but just in case someone else was looking for them!

It would be very nice if folks can report back with the following:

Which resorts were available
Any restrictions on room catergory, if any (garden view, preferred, etc...)

We booked under the Disney Visa, and I think POR only allowed certain room types (we are garden view)

Don't post much at all, but figured I would answer this to help out. LOL I already had a ressie for Pop within the FD dates. I had QSDP added already... I was able to get the FD, then upgraded to the DP and a preferred room.

Thanks for posting. Yeah, it's looking like a lot more options are opening up at multiple resorts now.

So if folks aren't seeing what you want now, keep trying. (but if you are really wanting to take advntage of FD, book a less preferred option just in case you don't get your most preferred option and you can switch your ressie later if your #1 option opens up)

So glad I called! They didn't add the free dining to our reservation after all! This girl was very helpful and made sure everything was confirmed and got added. I feel much better! Thanks!

I just booked with whichever value resort popped up first because it was hard enough getting onto the website with the server overload.

I'm heading over there now to see if I can get POP too.

Just got our DV FD promo at CBR switched to POP. We prefer the qsdp so it worked out better for us. So we also added the WP&M option. I was glad we got a standard room.

Alrighty, called Disney and had to pay an extra 20+ but it's cool because I've wanted to go to POP since I first started researching WDW back in 2006.

This trip will be fun/research. Planning a late summer/early fall 2013 trip with my DSis and DBIL.

Yes, our stay is 9/20-10/6 and we received free dining for our entire trip

Just switched our reservation from Sports to POP!! I have been going back and forth about switching since we made the reservation (all the way back in JULY!!!) and today I finally just did it!! I am so excited!!!
