I called Disney Dining two days ago to inquire as to when the candlelight processional dinner package would become available to book - the CM wasn't sure but said it was usually July.

She suggested I call back every few days to see if there were any updates.

So I thought I would come here and see if anyone else was on CP watch with me and maybe we could help each other out so we all didn't feel like we had to call every other day.

Anyone want to join me?

Moving this to the Reservations board (to join the BOG and Dessert Party watch threads)

Count me in.

Last year the announcement about CP Pkgs was made July 1st and became bookable July 26. We should hear well in advance again this year I think before booking is opened up so we can choose the date and time we want to go.

I am pretty sure I want to try to book the 5pm show @ Le Cellier, just waiting to see who this years narrators will be.

We are really hoping for Christmas Eve. We would love Le Cellier - but would be happy with just about anywhere.

I'm in. I am hoping for Dec. 13, either Tutto or Via Vapoli.

I can't wait to see who will be there, too.

Here is last year's lineup and when sales started for the "2011" Epcot Candlelight Processional Package below from http://allears.net/tp/h_cpfaq.htm :

Lunch and dinner packages, which include a meal, reserved seating at the show and pre-arranged fireworks viewing, will go on sale "July 26, 2011". (Packages not available on Sunday, December 4, at 5 p.m. -- Community Relations Showing.)

Last year for "2011"
November 25-27: Mira Sorvino ("Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion")
November 28-December 1: Michael W. Smith (Christian singer)
December 2-3: Geena Davis ("Thelma & Louise")
December 4-6: Edward James Olmos (6:45 p.m. & 8:15 p.m. shows only on December 4)
December 7-9: Isabella Rossellini ("Alias")
December 10-12: Neil Patrick Harris ("How I Met Your Mother")
December 13-15: Lorraine Bracco ("The Sopranos," "Goodfellas")
December 16-18: Chita Rivera (singer/dancer)
December 19-21: Trace Adkins (country singer)
December 22-24: Susan Lucci ("All My Children")
December 25-27: Blair Underwood ("The Event")
December 28-30: Marlee Matlin ("Celebrity Apprentice") (Jack Jason)

This will be our first time seeing it ever. I have only heard wonderful things about it. So excited about this.

It will be our first time ever being at WDW at Christmas - never seen any of the Christmas decor either - and now we are spending the Christmas holiday there.

I'm in, and thanks for this thread! We will be going to CP for the first time! This is my last ressie to get, hoping for LeCellier!

I just want to know when I can make a regular (non-CP) booking at one of the currently "not released" restaurants.

I'm in! Last year it looks like LeCellier was only for lunch packages for CP. I want to do lunch at LC while I'm there, but I want a CP dinner package. If they do a LC dinner package, I might try for that. Can't wait to actually be able to nail down my last ADRs!

I'm in too! My first time for Candlelight Processional as well. Not sure of all the restaurants that participate. Is there a list somewhere? Have to show the menus to my daughter, but looking at them I think that Le Cellier, Les Chefs or Via Napoli would provide best options.

regular dining reservations can be made 180 days before your check in date if that is what you are asking.

Count me in. We've booked everything but a CP package and Be Our Guest.

C.

What she means is that even though she is within her 180 days, they haven't released any type of dining reservations for the majority of the Epcot restaurants due to holding them back for CP reservations. Count me in as waiting . . . impatiently. :rolleyes1

Yup. That's the same boat I'm floating in. LOL Come on, Disney Dining! Open up those reservations! LOL

:surfweb:

Has anyone checked lately? I was going to call today and see if they knew when the date is - but got busy and forgot. :(

Nope, they can't...at least at many Epcot/WS restaurants. My 180+10 window was a few days ago...I still can't book LeCellier..and I don't care about the CP pkg. I'm not buying one this year unless the narrator is extraordinary!!! The cost is out of control..so not paying it.
I just want to book a nice, normal meal at LeCellier..lunch or dinner. And I can't. The system shows no availability!!!
Drives me nuts the way they hold everyone up..even if you don't want the CP!!!

I'm in exactly the same situation and feel exactly the same way (just want a nice, normal lunch at Le Cellier - I even planned it for later in my trip, thinking this would guarantee us a table, forgetting about CP).

Even though I check this several times a day (it's sadly become my obsession lately), the feeling I get is that the "held back" restaurants won't open for booking until June 26 when the CP packages are released.

In that regard, I have this gnawing fear that when I get on the system at 6 am to try to book, it will crash due to 100,000 other people trying to do the same thing. Then, I'll try calling at 7, only to be put on hold for 90 minutes. When I finally get through to a CM, I will be informed that even the regular ADRs are totally booked.

Seems unfair (and unnecessary) that resort guests who plan ahead and just want a regular ADR should have to be put through this.
