Thank you to all you have made this such an informative thread. We stayed at BC in March and thanks to this thread we were able to beat the rain walking back from Epcot by using the side door. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and all the photos really helped. We ate a Beaches and Cream twice. The only draw back for us during our trip was the monorail was being repaired during the day so we did not get to use to park hop.
One last question, does anyone know if you can buy a candle or air freshen to smell like the lobby? I loved that smell.

Where can I purchase and refill a refillable mug?

Refillable Mugs may be purchased and filled at the Beach Club Marketplace (self-serve station), Beaches and Cream (CM assisted service, get into the ice cream takeout line), Hurricane Hanna's (self-serve station) and the Ale and Compass Lounge in the Yacht Club resort (coffee/tea self-service, juices and soda behind the bar).

So you can Get Juice at the Compass lounge!?

We arrive tomorrow AM, our first stay YC/CL. So relieved that SAB is fully operational, we decided on YC instead of GF (due to construction) because of SAB. We have a GV/CL room, I have read that there are not many and was wondering if any of them have day beds. I know they are just a request and reserved for parties of 5. We are used to having that extra spot after our stays at GF and Poly, so just curious.
Thanks for all the helpful info, this time tomorrow we will be lounging by the pool after lunch at Beaches and Cream.

ETA: Love the pics from Atlantis, we went 2 years ago and stayed in the royal tower....what an awesome vacation that was! Did you get out to Blue Lagoon Island, that was the highlight of our trip. Thanks for the pics.

Sorry for quoting myself......the bad news is we did not get a day bed, but good news is we were upgraded to a lagoon view! Perfect dead on view, can't wait for tonight to see it all lit up!

Question (and I'm asking it here because I'm thinking I might get the answer faster):

What is the best address for someone to use to write a complaint/concern regarding one of the water parks?

My friend was at TL last week and they had an issue and she wants to contact someone about it. More of a letting them know what happened so that maybe they can look into preventing it from happening to someone else.

Well even though I"m POFQ for F&W (still checking often for a price break at BC), I am at my ADR day tomorrow.

Oh course between it only being a four day visit, spending one of those at IOA and planning on eating F&W most of the time I'm only making one ADR.

Since my mom is now saying she wants to come along (she really wants BC as well, but I'm paying for the hotel and I don't really want to swing BC without a discount) and she's never been to DHS we'll probably spend most of our time bouncing between DHS and Epcot.

We're going to do the Fantasmic! Dinner.

We've decided on Hollywood Brown Derby. She likes pork chops and steak, so she's willing to try spatzel or truffle mashed potatoes (yeah I came by that picky eater label genetically). I'm good as long as there is chicken on the menu though I do like a steak every now and then. I've read mixed reviews but we were going to go out to one TS dinner and this seems kinda like a win-win since we get the seating at F!.

Have you guys eaten there?

You can, but I use a refill mug even when staying CL. First, I should disclose that I'm addicted to my refill mug. I have many and I use them every day at home, so I have to buy one at WDW every time, or I feel out of sorts! I tried to resist once when staying CL, and I only lasted one day before I gave in and bought one from the BC Marketplace. In the morning, I fill my mug with coffee from the club lounge. Same at night. I use it for my grey goose slushie in Epcot. As for SAB, our boys do grab sodas from the lounge to bring along to SAB. But I carry that mug everywhere (with a ziplock bag to stash it in my madras mickey backpack when I'm finished.) I'm more likely than the boys to need refills at SAB, and I prefer soda with ice (instead of from a can) so it really comes in handy.

Do they fill your mug with the slushie (instead of the plastic margarita glass)? That would be awesome and no spills! We loved taking our mugs to the park & getting them filled with ice water, then added juice/iced tea mix from the little sleeves.

I am THRILLED that I saw this thread! We are staying at the YC June 4-9 for our 20th wedding anniversary and I am so excited! Love that you have taken the time to post so much great info about the resort, walking paths, transportation, etc. Thanks!

I'm not sure if they will fill your mug, they may have to give it to you in the stupid plastic martini glass, but then you can pour it into the mug.

The Aquarium at Atlantis is amazing. They have the huge tank and then about 10 other rooms of beautiful creatures. Plus there are a bunch of places around the grounds with sharks, rays, turtles, tropical fish PLUS a whole predator lagoon/shark tunnel. It all captivates my marine creature loving family.

The slide is STEEP! Some people get feel like they are off the slide. I don't like the sensation of the water in my face or the wedgie in my ... so I passed on this one.

Yes, I think that price is correct. Not right because that just ain't right, but correct. I knew it was expensive.

There used to be a place that sold a candle with a similar scent, but I believe it was discontinued a couple of years ago.

Thanks so much to everyone here. Honestly, the regular posters on this board exemplify the incredible warmth we felt at BC. We were "home."

Finally, we truly hit the jackpot and met Teena right before we left yesterday morning. Teena, you are truly a wonderful person. The BC is so lucky to have you for a greeter. And so are we all.

I'm happy that you had such a wonderful vacation!! Those are the same reasons that we're going back to BC for the 3rd year in a row!!

Not Dunkin fan and they don't have soy milk so I can't go there anyway. I prefer locally well roasted coffee but I HATE that Nescafe swill. I am thrilled to be able to get a cuppa starbucks now.

That little fellow on the rocks was at St. Thomas. He was very happy to have people take his picture all day long!

Our cabin host was amazing. Bob and I couldn't wait to see his towel animals. He got a kick out of two adults being so excited over his creations.

I love the lobster!! I'm hoping that a Disney cruise will be on our vacation agenda in a year or two!
