Well, we're home from our wonderful week at the World. DD's favorite part of our vacation, and I quote was "our blue and white hotel" and "the pool." She was unimpressed with everything else, it seems. I think we've found our home.

AND, before boarding ME yesterday, I literally ran to the IG and picked up the best souvenir of all ... ANNUAL PASSES! I've already booked a weekend at ASMu for DH and I for his birthday in January, and you can expect to see all 3 of us back at the BC next October! This is the first trip (and this is our third annual trip in a row) that DH has started telling me we are coming back before we even leave! What a great trip!

Finally, our April plans may include YC! We're visiting my parents' SW Florida condo again in April, but my husband and two older boys are leaving mid-week and I'm staying a little longer with our youngest son. Once again, we're headed back to WDW for a one-night, pre-flight stay. I'm thinking about YC if WDW releases an April discount. I'd like to try something new, but we're saving CR and GF for a split stay someday when all five of us are traveling. (We have a crazy split stay plan for 2013!) Since it's just two of us, I'd like for it to be new but also relatively familiar. So YC fits perfectly - hoping for an April 2012 discount!!

Congratulations on the annual passes! We had APs from March, 2010 to March 2011 and loved them! Can't wait to hear more about your trip!

Hello all!

I was wondering if I could get some information on the villas....I've seen some pictures and they look like the rooms are a little worn. I've heard that the villas don't get updated as much since DVC pays for those renovations (again this is what I've heard, don't know for sure ). Does anyone have any recents pictures of the two bedroom villas and the first floor patios? If so I would really appreciate it if I could see them. I am super excited to stay at the Beach Club as this is our first time at this resort. Also are there any tips or suggestions to first time visitors? A BIG thank you for all the posts and fantastic information...always my 'to go' place for Disney information!!

Whew! Finally caught up. My sympathies to those with all the snow and lost power Nanette Glad you made it through The Move. MM thanks for the laughs and the great photography advice. Congratulations to all who enjoyed a recent trip, are having fun in the world right now or eagerly anticipating an upcoming trip. The BC rocks!
I've had the post Disney blues this week, having returned Oct 30. We had a wonderful trip. The CMs were great, SAB fantastic, DGS was excited to find a phone book with Mickey on the front (that's why they have one) and I even had a surprise Teena sighting in the lobby, (on a Sat) (although I didn't get to talk to her)
I guess I can't get too depressed, I brought home a wonderful souvenir- I am now a DVC member!!!

I believe that all of the BCV room photos on the front page of this thread were taken within the last 6 months or so.

I think there may have been some recent BCV patio pictures posted, but not sure where exactly in the last 218 pages... If someone has patio pix, could you post them?

Hello, my family and I will be staying at BCV next week and I am hoping for help with a last minute question. Does anyone know if there is a music player in the room that can accommodate an iPod? we play music for our 8 month old as part of his sleep routine and are hoping to manage that on this trip as well. thanks so much!

I'm pretty sure all rooms have an iPod dock that you can charge from, though I don't know if you can play music through it.

We've stayed in a studio and as far as wear and tear our room was not pristine but not 'worn' either. We had a room at SSR that was much more worn (and may have been updated by now). We have a BCV two bedroom booked for our Dec family trip and our Jan trip. I really enjoy the sitting rooms and the short walk over to the Solarium. Here's a couple more resources for photos.

Yes. Each rooms alarm clock is an Ihome type clock with Ipod/Phone adapter sitting on top. (Or at least every room I've had!) It has a little auxillary plug to play through.

Hello everyone,

We got home on Halloween and since we are back in our groove I figured I would write a little something.

WE LOVE BEACH CLUB. WE NEVER WANT TO GO TO ANOTHER RESORT AGAIN!!

Yes, we loved it here... Teena is wonderful, I only got to chat on our arrival day, we were either on a mission to go somewhere or she was busy. She is one popular lady!

We loved our room, it was on the 3rd floor, over the lobby, it faced the courtyard where you leave to head to Epcot. Our balcony was being used by the construction workers so we didnt spend any time out there; but we werent in the room that much anyway.

YES, we had a phone book. I was so relieved.

We usually vacation around the same time each year because we love F&W. Since we could walk to Epcot we spent so much extra time there and got to sample so many offerings. It was great not having to be on a bus for so much of our vacation.

We had breakfast one day at Captain's Grille, LOVED IT. We chose the buffet. Had breakfast at Cape May Cafe too... the character interaction was so much fun. Beaches and Cream has the best chocolate shakes I ever had... my DH could not stop talking about them. He said he cant wait to go back for the shake... and he never talks about next years vacation in advance.

We didnt take the time out to swim; but we sat by the pool for a while. Its just beautiful and we never saw it over crowded. I think its just too big.

Thanks to the boards I felt so comfortable at the Beach Club, it was like I had stayed there before. I knew about so much.

I stayed in one in October for F&W and it had a 4 cup!
