Well it was another late start today, I'm traveling with my senior cit parents and they are not exactly commando park goers.

Hey, I resemble that remark!!! Be kind, remember they probably thought the same thing when they were pushing you around in that stroller.

I'm leaving on the Disney Magic for 7 nights on 9/24. Bob thought I needed some "happy time" to think about instead of worrying about the tests so he insisted we go on the cruise.

When I grow up I want to be just like BOB!!! Hope the tests go well and Castaway Key goes even better!!. Enjoy yourself (and I hope Bob does too).

How do you put more than one quote in a post? I have never been able to figure that one out.

Nathan and I are trying to squeeze one more night out of DH. We arrive on Superbowl Sunday and know that he will want to watch the Superbowl that night. Bad thing is by the time we checkin and get settled it should already be after 5pm with Nate and I itching to immerse in Dsiney. So we are having a family meeting tonight to gang up on him. Actually, DH suggested this. We have some marriott points so we could stay near the airport for one night and then be able to get to BC earlier on Sunday for some fun. Or, hopefully we can gang up enough to get one more night at the BC!! That is what we hoping for!! Wish us luck. I'll update as soon as we have some planned.

We've stayed in a deluxe room and a 2-bedroom suite, and both are so wonderful that the trip to the lounge didn't bother us a bit! Have a great trip!

Doesn’t it feel great to have a DELUXE suite booked? Now the countdown/waiting begins.

Right now a year seems so far, BUT I planned last year this far out, and the time flew by

Hi y'all, I have two questions about Mousekeeping:
Do they have box fans you can request to have in the room during your stay?
Do they have step stools available for use in the room? (for the kiddo)
I realize that if they do, availability would be limited, requests not guaranteed, etc. etc. Just wondering. We have to pack a step stool for DD when we go to a hotel, and I'm considering whether to buy a white noise machine. These things are just easier to pack when you are driving. We fly to WDW.

I'm also looking forward to hearing from anyone going in the next month about how entry is working at the IG now. Especially how crowded the Land Pavilion is by the time you can get there.

If we have a pre-park opening Akershus breakfast. We can enter through the IG before 8 a.m. right?

Well, just booked our MVMCP tickets and every1 here is feeling Xmasy ! Even our DS who is currently working at the world doing an internship (prolly cause dad paid for the tickets, I'm guessing !) We have never been to WDW other than in Aug, so we are all pretty excited. And this will be our first stay at the YC. Teena, good luck with your check up. Hope you and Bob have a great cruise, also. For month's I have been going back and forth on what resort to choose for DH, DD (5) and I when we go in May. YC, CR or POLY.

Today, I have made a decision and am booking on Thursday!

YACHT CLUB!!!!

DD has no idea we are going and I cant wait to surprise her. We will be there from 5/10 - 5/15.

Plans are:
Thursday - Arrive/Check-in/Hit the MK
Friday - Hollywood Studios in the Morning/ SAB at night
Saturday - DD 5th Bday - Early Appointment at the BBB and then Breakfast at CRT/MK/Dinner at Chef Mickey's (having BD Cake Delivered to dinner)
Sunday - MOTHERS DAY (aka MY Day...lol) - Epcot!! (I am so pumped)/SAB at Night
Monday - Animal Kingdom/SAB/Dinner at Ohana/back to MK
Tuesday - Departure Day

I am so excited that I finally get to post this!

NOW, I need your YC/BC Experienced Advice... and probably a lot of dust

Are there any special things I should do, outside of what I have listed, to make this trip extra special?

The two bedroom suites at the Beach Club have two separate bedrooms (one has a king bed and one has two queens). Both have their own bathroom. Then a living room divides them. They are on floors one through four but your key gives you access to the fifth floor where the lounge is located.

Does anyone know if the BC CL lounge is still open 24 hours? When we were there in Dec. we were able to grab drinks in between service times. Is is still staying open?

As the old saying goes, I have some good news, some bad news and some worse news...

The Good News: Looks like I will be coming to Disney in June

The Bad News: I won't be staying at the Beach Club (All Stars instead )

The Worse News: My travel companions are 100 14-year-olds!


Teena, as the date gets closer, I will see if I can arrange some free time to sneak away and visit you if you are around!

As my DH is walking out the door to go to work this am he looks at me and says, "Hey! Just 10 more days now!"

I say, "10 more days until what?"

He looks at me funny and says, "Until WDW, silly..."

I'm not ready, lol. I still have LOTS of planing and packing to get ready for/do!

Now I'm running around trying to get everything done that should have been done weeks ago >_<
