Yes, so to recap, get your husband drunk and he WILL enjoy shopping for a change.....

Good spot to fill in a little time so how about an mini rundown on our 'new' stuff for this trip. So many new experiences to try. Here's a sampling>

• EMH at MK, Yes those EMH's that they tack on at the end of the day for the zombies and the night creatures. We tried EMH evening years ago and ran screaming from EPCOT at the shear sight of this horror. Well, we're going to MK again -12am to 3am, Just seems cool to be in HM at 3 am. Will let you know.
  

If you are staying late at the Magic Kingdom be sure and get your picture taken by the clock on Main Street before you leave so you can document how late you stayed. This is the sort of a fun picture that you can show to people and say "what's unique about this picture?" When people realize that you were in the Magic Kingdom at 3 am they will be blown away!

We are counting the days until our first YC stay. Many have said to ask nicely about request (daybed for us) at check in. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what rooms have the worse views. If we are assigned a terrible view, what numbers would it be? Where are the "roof-top-in-the corner garden view rooms?" Also, I recently read a Trip Report where they were told that the entrance from Epcot to YC/BC closed directly park closing. If we have late ADR's in Epcot, will be be able to walk back to the resort? Thanks.

Our Mickey Mail came! Just over two weeks to go!

Do you think I can call DME and request a 5th tag? We need to bring booster seats this trip (renting a car and heading to Kennedy after our YC stay) and we'd like to check them as luggage rather than gate check them.

I would love to see an August activities calendar if someone gets one!

Oh my gosh, I try to drink a liter of water every day! I'm cracking up imagining well, anyone really, with a liter of beer!

So I guess we've got a new home now and I'll try to pop in here more often than I have been. In exactly 10 weeks from today we'll be hanging out at BCV and hopefully SAB after a morning of F&WF (how many acronyms is that for ya?).

And we decided to add a night on at Disney during our grad school scouting trip, and we decided to go...sadly, elsewhere than BCV. So we picked Old Key West-something new and cheap!

If you have ADR's you'll be fine getting in and out of the park. I left approximately 1 hour after illuminations Ended and they let me out via the international gate just fine.Tell security you are staying that the BC/YC/BCV/BW/Swan/Dolphin and you will be let out that way.

I wonder if we have been upgraded.... When we checked in the gentleman behind the counter told us our room isn't ready but that we would be on the 5th floor. We shall see. .

Ps. We are in line for TOT right now.

Have you found out yet? It's my dream to get that magical upgrade to CL

hi, and may I first say thank you to all who take the time to post and make life a little (actuall) alot easier in the planning of our trip...

This will be our 9th trip to Disney ...but our very 1st time staying at a Disney Resort...I am more excited than words could say....

as I said this being our 1st stay in park..(we usuall stay in kissimme or international drive....)
.I poured over many threads...and am so happy that the BC is our pick....

I went back and forth between the poly or contempory...but this seems like this will be a perfect fit....

I absolutely love, love the pics of the hotel....thank you all again..

our dates are sept.7-14th....there will be a total of 10 of us, our first trip with the grandkids...Jackson 1 1/2 and...Kaila 2 1/2 (her 3rd time ) AND she has stayed in the park all 3 times....

I was born and raised in Palmyra, NJ, and then after college, I lived in Mt. Laurel. Bob got transferred to the Harrisburg, PA area right after we got married so we raised Jeanne there and retired to Florida as soon as she graduated from college.
