I will download my pics to photo bucket and upload here. If I can figure out how to do it, I am going to add Ryan Reynolds to my trees (marlton mom - can you help me out ?) 5170 didn't have a daybed but 5172 did.

Oh, and we had both a Bible and a phone book.

Yes mam I can help you out. Do you have photoshop? You can use that program to insert you private photo session pictures with Mr. Reynolds (use the ones with the loin cloth!!!)

If not, send me the JPEG file and I will do it for you. I'll send you a PM with my address.

Oh, and I am SO JEALOUS you had BOTH the Bible AND the Phone book! You must have pilfered the Phone book from the Boardwalk resort because (I've heard :rolleyes1) that's the only place ritzy enough to have one...

For anyone that has just returned from the YC, did they change the coffee makers from the drip kind to the pod type? there is talk of other deluxes changing over. Trying to prepare for my morning coffee and need to know what type of machine is available. TIA

Your plan looks fantastic! I wish I could come ;)

As far as disneyquest goes we went once and it was enough for us. We enjoyed our time there I think we stayed about an hour to an hour and a half. But keep in mind we did not have children with us. So maybe someone with kids will have a better opinion on it then me. we had the water park and more option so the admission to disneyquest was included.

That is about the amount of time I was planning for. Nate is not a big gamer. But he is excited about the arcade pics for BC.;) We will be getting convention tickets. The water park's are not included but Disney Quest is. I would not pay extra for it. It is just a bonus offered on the tickets we are buying. We actually have water park tickets from years ago but are saving them for a trip when we know for sure it will be warm.

I received this notice today: Complimentary wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) will be available in Guests rooms at select resort hotels starting Oct. 14, which include:

I do not know if this is true or not but I was told last weekend by someone that it would also be available for free in the lobby. If someone is in the lobby and tests it while I'm working Sunday and Monday, I'll report back.

That would be great! Then I could bring my nook too. Actually I will bring it but was not planning on using the internet feature. Plus, it will make work for DH that much easier. He will still have some work to do while we are there.

Once for DisneyQuest was enough for us too. We have gone to WDW as a family 3 times and always with the Water Parks and more Park Hoppers, but we never tried DisneyQuest until our last trip.

Our son was 13 so it should have been the perfect age for it. He was old enough to wander around in the place by himself and young enough to be interested in the games. My son is very quiet and patient which didn't work out so well there. He spent most of his time patiently waiting to try the games that others were taking way too long at. When he did get on to a game he didn't find them that great, compared to his video games at home.

My son has no interest in returning.

Overall it wasn't a bad place, but once was enough for us.

With our next trip to the YC we didn't bother with the Water Park tickets since we figure we will enjoy SAB and don't need DisneyQuest.

Your son sounds like ours. Nathan is that way too. He is way too polite at times and it holds him back. I guess it is a better problem to have though. What gets me is it is usually the older kids that should know better that do not give others a chance too.:confused3 We are only going to give it try because it is included in our ticket without an extra charge. I figured then we can say "been there done that". I can't see us staying more than 2 hours and doubt it will even that long. He honestly cares more about the arcade at BC and the Lego store where we are going to let him pick out his birthday gift.

If it is free and you are going to Downtown Disney for the Lego store anyway then you should definitely go check out Disney Quest. The worst that happens is you stay for a short time. It is still cool to see once, I just wouldn't pay much to see it again.

Bob, Jeanne and I love to play the pirate ship game ... we beat it twice and have so much fun. Too bad the line is normally really long for it but IMO it's worth it. We get passes once in a while and will go over just to play that game, then have a nice lunch over at Captain Jacks (love that place for lunch).

Going to look up Captain Jacks now. Haven't heard of it. Is the pirate game the one where you row together? I thought there was something like that that sounded fun for us.

Yep, you row and one person steers the boat. So great.

We love the crab cake lunch at Captain Jacks and the atmosphere is wonderful and so is the service!!

We moved from MD 4 years ago. I so miss MD crab cakes! Here you can not even get lump crab meat in the stores. I wonder if they are anything like the MD ones. Might be worth a try. Their menu does look nice.

I think we will head to that game first then. Sounds fun! I love Disney planning.:lovestruc

I'm glad you will get to try this without paying for the tickets. We had a similar experience to other posters. But it is not just the kids who won't give up a game once they are on it. A lot of adults were pretty rude, too. One family even tried to cut my son Nate in line once the person using the game he had been waiting over 15 minutes for finally got up. I don't think so!

The Pirates of the Caribbean family simulation game is a blast- hope you get a chance to do this.

For a quick meal, a lot of people swear by Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express. We have gone to T-Rex a couple of years in a row. The food is expensive, but plentiful and good. The atmosphere is amazing. But if you are pairing this with Disney Quest, pack the Excederin. Major stimulation overload!!!

You know I have seen parents encourage that type of behavior in places too.:headache:

Nathan and I ate at Earl's last year. It was a nice change from some of our other meals. We have a T'rex here in the KC area. That place is loud! I bet with DQ we will have our fill of that.

Need to go ready for his race! Oh and his team placed second last night! It was a nail biter the entire game. They kept tying the score almost every inning.

Have a great weekend. Off to my parents after his race. Their health is not the best and need to go and visit with them and give them any help while there. They live 4 hours away and it makes it hard on all of us.

Thanks for everyone's insight!!

No, they are nothing like MD ones. I'm from South Jersey and then Harrisburg. I know what you are talking about. They are good but nothing like what we have in the northeast!

What food is so good in Florida .... come on MM, you know it's the oranges. However, I really moved here for my chance twice a year to go to war against the love bugs!!

We returned on Monday, and there were still the drip coffee makers. Would have loved the pod kind. We had the pod kind at PBH (I know, the dark side) and loved having decent coffee in the room, for a change.
