I'll tell you what you do. You tell the children that you are only BRINGING BACK the best behaved child. LOL! Well my youngest would certainly make every attempt to misbehave @ WDW if she knew I'd leave her at Disney World with Teena!!!!

Here's what Marlton Mom would do in this situation. I would tell them that you are only going to take 1 kid to Disney and that kid will be the one who is the best behaved.

Make fake arrangements with grandma or social services or the place where you drop off the unwanted kids to watch the ones that don't "win" the behavior sweepstakes. Make sure the kids believe that you have the arrangements and you WILL pull the trigger!

OK so what you've got here is gullible kids (hopefully) who are on their best behavior right up until the moment you are leaving the house and telling them they behaved SO WELL!, they all get to come.

This is good.... right? Well here comes the problem part. Once those kids get on the plane you are TRAPPED! You can't leave them on the side of the road any more and THEY KNOW IT!!! All that pent up frustration will seep out and they will start up on the plane. This is where homeland security can finally be useful. Tell them about all the celebrities who were escorted off the plane for bad behavior and thrown in the clink. Ask a flight attendant to back you up. (They always back up the Moms and Dads in this situation!)

OK, so that covers the plane ride. Now you've got the hotel to deal with.

Uggh!

All of that crammed into 1 or two rooms for the duration of your vacation.

What's a parent to do???

Social Services That's a good one

On one trip we went to Cocoa Beach first with 2 teenage daughters On the drive to WDW I asked the one who was PMSing -"You know why WDW is the happiest place on earth? Because when you drive under the Welcome to WDW arch, it vaporized everyone who isn't happy"

I thought that the quiet pool was open 24 hours. Do they lock the pool up/close gates (are there gates?) at midnight, or are those hours merely "guidelines?"

Anyone know?

I *think* the sign said the official hours were from 7am - midnight, probably to limit noise disturbance for the rooms nearby. With that being said,
I did laundry between 5am and 6 am in the separate bldg near the quiet pool and soaked in the hot tub while waiting for it to dry. FYI, there are no gates, so you can access the pool any time.

Thank you fairyprincess1 and Katesdad! I didn't know you could get them at the resorts -- we've picked ours up in the parks in the past. It's just my immediate family going next month, but we're gearing up for our Grand Gathering/Princess Half weekend in Feb.! I want to send everyone their family reunion buttons at Christmas to build excitement!

I could not help comparing everything there vs Disney and Beach Club. The resort itself is huge just like Disney properties but the service and amenities nowhere compare to Disney.
My sons baseball team was in Wisconsin Dells for their final tournament for the season. It was a nice way to end it but so hard for me not to compare to Disney.
We are looking at doing a baseball tournament in Disney next year June 30th thru July 7th. Boys will get to play teams from around the world, while also enjoying Disney. The games are held at ESPN complex. They offer a travel package but the hotel choices are All Star Sports or Carribean Beach. Note sure if we can stay elsewhere yet as I would want to stay at Beach Club.

GV would not overlook a quiet pool, you may see it though to one side. Best GV request would be wedding gazebo IMHO.

You have to upload your pictures to a site like Photobucket or Flickr. I use photobucket. When you have the pictures on the site, you hover over the photo you want to share and you will see options to edit, share, etc.

Click on the share tab

Click on Get Link Code

Go to the option that says IMG for bulletin boards and forums. Right mouse click to highlight the text (address) and copy the link.

This will be the link you use to post the photo.

Hi guys I am writing from my hospital bed. Gallbladdar gone, but haveing problems wth breathing. I guess they found out I have sleep apnea and I stopped breathing during sugery. They tryed to incubate me and my throat swelled up, so they had to use a scope to get the tube in . I am on oxygen and my throat is beyond sore from being scratched and cut up. I hopefully will be going home tommrow if my stats go up and I keep down my clear diet. thanks for the prayers!

Less than 2 weeks and we are at the BC, I'll get some shots of the sushi and the villas too.
