Those sound like some lucky pool noodles! As far as entertainment for Pool noodles is concerned, we like long walks on the beach, high speed internet and all you can eat buffets! We really love kids, dogs not so much since they tend to nibble on us! Some of our favorite movies are Cast Away,(he could have used a few of us!), "Titanic" and in the horror genre "Jaws"!
Anybody that can keep us entertained sounds alright to me.

I'm still hoping that the Captain's Grill has the key lime pie.
They had one of the best one's I ever tasted.
I love KLP! I've tried a ton of KLPs near my parents' condo and am still searching for the perfect KLP. So I'm really hoping it will be there at Captain's Grill. If not, we should lobby for a KLP addition to the CL dessert menu! That and some grey goose slushies in the lounge.
Anyway, I see we already have BC fans scouting this menu item. Otherwise, I was seriously thinking about stopping in at YC next Monday on the way to our AKL pre-flight stay to check out the menu! Alternatively, I could add a YC night before our AKL night - for research purposes, of course!
Hey Guys!! Landed at 6:30 p.m., and was magically surprised upon our arrival with Club Leval upgrade!!!!! I just can't believe it. My family was so surprised
John had the front desk quickly check us in so we could make our 8:15 ADR's at Cape May.
I was worried about getting here in time (it took us 1-1/2 hours from landing to driving up using ME, wich really isn't bad), but it all worked out.
Ready to enjoy the lounge on Tuesday and head over to EPCOT.
Everything here at BC is absolutely wonderful.
Just heard about the devastation in Missouri. Prayers for them and all the folks across the country that have been hit so hard by the storms this spring. Makes me value the good times and my family so much more. We never know……..
I just woke up and saw the devastation. Mother Nature is really upset with all of us this year!!!
I couldn't have said it better. Seeing that makes me definitely value the good times and although I'm so tired I can barely move, I'm not going to feel sorry for myself. I've got it good compared to the people that are dealing with these horrid storms!!!
This year has been a rough year for storms, my home in Alabama is just getting a break from the rain and storms.
Prayers go out to all of those effected by the storms.![]()
,Hi Guys!
.... We leave for Disney (and the BC) next Tuesday, the 31st. I gotta say, I feel kind of guilty about even taking the trip. ]
Welcome! I'm hoping that my daughter will be friending a bucket in August1Hi everybody,
I'm new here and I was told by a lime green beach bucket from Hurricane Hannah's that this is the place to post questions about the hotel I'm staying at. That bucket said there was a reason that she was lime green and if I went to the Dis Boards I would know what she meant.
Any way I remember signing up for a garden view room since I spend way too much time in the pool to begin with. The only trouble is that upon my arrival to the hotel I was whisked away to a closet and I'm sitting next to other people's junk!
What is a Pool noodle to do??

We have been here twice. First time we were seated pretty far up the tier. I don't care what they say about "everybody gets a good view". No true. It loses it's beauty with all the noise. Food not so good. Second time around, we were seated in the booths in front. Great view but still totally unimpressed with the food. Second son wanted to go this coming trip, and we talked him out of it and into Tutto.I'm wondering if anyone can give me some reviews on these restaurants? This is our first trip, so everything is new to us.
2. Coral Reef: We like the idea of the aquarium seating, but there are a ton of bad reviews about it.
Thanks for any help!!
Or try my recipe:Have you ever made Key Lime pie??

I would be cautious of the San Angel. I am not sure what menus you are referencing but what they were serving 2 weeks ago was not on my references and was completely different. I just checked the disney site and allears.net - the menus on both are not current and these were the ones I looked at. You can read my reviews on allears and Tripadvisor. Atmosphere nice - but if you want the full effect, make sure you tell the hostess your seating preference when you arrive. We were stuck in a corner, farthest away from the pyramid, near the bathroom. You could not see a thing except the line of people waiting to get in. The food was so-so, dessert was nothing exciting. Maybe the Hacienda might be better. I think there would be a better choice somewhere else in EPCOT or elsewhere. We deemed this our least favorite of the trip- not that it was alarmingly bad but just thought there would probably be a better option.

Hi Guys!
We live in Missouri, just north of Kansas City (about two hours north of Joplin). My nephew, who is an EMT, and several friends in the law enforcement and medical fields have rushed down to help out in any way they can. The devastation is jaw-dropping. Estimates run anywhere between one-third and two-thirds of this city of 50,000 being destroyed. From what I have seen and heard from those seeing it firsthand, it's a blessed miracle that the death toll is only as high as it is (and knock wood that it doesn't increase as they continue the search and rescue operation). Perhaps the worst part of the story is the continued weather events they're experiencing: today brought flash flooding, quarter-sized hail, heavy rain, and further threats of tornadic activity (in a town where many of the sirens and other warning system components have been damaged or destroyed). In other words---it could easily get worse for these people.
I was going to go to Joplin myself, but they aren't letting anyone in who isn't properly credentialed (i.e. medical professionals and law enforcement or military). To be honest, I'm kind of glad I can't go...seeing this with my own eyes would probably be too much, and I don't know what good I would be under those conditions.
What we've decided to do is what many are doing: donate blood (they're critically short on several types), and we have several boxes of Pampers we bought through the Amazon diaper deal a couple of months ago that we're going to send down, as they need those as well. I figure those folks need them worse than we do.
We leave for Disney (and the BC) next Tuesday, the 31st. I gotta say, I feel kind of guilty about even taking the trip. There are myriad threads on Facebook pages about the Joplin tornado where people are searching for family members who are still missing, and it really makes you stop and think. I try to be thankful and appreciative for the things we have, the lives we lead, and the activities we are able to enjoy---but situations like this bring home the harsh and oft-ignored reality that none of us are promised a tomorrow, and that those things in our lives we take for granted (home, car, possessions, family) can be gone in an instant.
I'm including some links to YouTube below. These videos are news footage from Joplin that has been laid alongside Google Street View images of the same locations, so you can see exactly what the level of destruction is. As I said at the onset, it's really just stunning. In one video, the field reporter loses his composure and has to stop his narrative...pretty powerful stuff.
Sorry to be a Donald Downer. God Bless Joplin and its residents, and all of those who have endured similar disasters, natural or otherwise.

Or try my recipe:
1. Go to your freezer section in your local grocery store.
2. Look for Edwards Key Lime Pie.
3. Take home and defrost in the refrigerator.
4. Eat!
I've had lots of key lime pies, and this one is very good!!!
Last time we stayed at YC I didn't take notice of the continental breakfast offerings at the Ale and Compass lounge. Has anyone gone recently and know how it works with the DDP?

My oldest son is very picky- the no sauces, seafood or veggie sounds very familiar to me!
One of the great things about dining at Disney is that they are very accomodating about leaving off fancy sauces if that is his choice, or swapping out healthy veggies for tempting french fries!
My son has ordered the steak at Coral Reef a couple of times- it was very good. We have had enjoyable meals there, love the atmosphere, but my biggest complaint with the restaurant is that we always encounter very slow service- it is usually one of our longest meals of the trip.
Never tried Via Napoli, but hear good things, and I really like San Angel, but haven't been there in about 15 years, so I don't have any recent reviews.
Hi Rorey!
I'm happy to throw in our two cents! For a little background and frame of reference, we're a family of five and we all have very different tastes - from picky to adventurous, from just appetizers and salad to full entrees, from meat eaters to nearly vegetarian, seafood and non-seafood, etc., etc.
1. Via Napoli. We all love it - that's saying a lot. Our oldest son and I really enjoyed the caprese salad and everyone (even our pickiest eaters) liked the pizza. Service was great, atmosphere is lively, and the theming is well done. This is one of our new favorites. We didn't ask them to change much on the pizza, but we ordered 1/2 and 1/2 toppings and that was no problem. Also, great sangria!
2. Coral Reef. It's interesting and the aquarium is cool, but it's not a favorite. Our boys don't love the kids' menu. (Everyone with kids who don't like onions - watch out for the meaty macaroni on all the kids' menus!) We all like the corn chowder, but I don't see that on the menu anymore. Even with a whole week at WDW in February (and two ADRs per day) it didn't rank high enough to make it on our list. If we're in Epcot for lunch, we'd rather go to Chefs de France, Via Napoli or La Hacienda. If we're there for dinner, we'd rather do Garden Grill, La Hacienda or Le Cellier. Again, it's not that it's bad - we just prefer other places and we run out of time. But if the theming and menu appeal to you more than the other options, I'd say give it a try!
3. San Angel. The theming is great and I love that it's right along the "river" for the Three Caballeros ride. But the food is not the Americanized Mexican that some picky eaters might expect and many of the menu items are difficult to transform. I think WDW is great at customizing orders and responding to requests, so I'm sure they could do something, but I also think it might be easier to do that at La Hacienda.
Hope that helps!![]()
1. Via Napoli: Loooooved it! I had the 'Quatro Formagio' flatbread pizza and it was soooo yummy. The boys both had the 'Margharita' (or however you spell it). I let them try a bite of mine and they both liked mine better. Then I proceeded to polish that baby off with them looking on their longing little faces.... I'm such a bad mom. LOL! Hubby had spaghetti and meat sauce. Yeah, he's sooooo adventurous. He said he wished he had gotten the Quatro Formagio, too. But it was mine...aaaaalll miiiiiine! The tiramisu was really good, too. DH even liked it and he doesn't usually care much for WDW's desserts outside vanilla ice cream scoops and ice cream from the carts. And soft pretzels w/cheese sauce.
2. Coral Reef. Never been there. I have it booked for us in September but I'm seriously considering switching it to something else. The only reason I haven't already is because I want to see the inside of that restaurant really bad.
3. San Angel. Never been there either. The reviews scare me away. Here in Southeast Texas we have tons of good Mexican restaurants so we'd rather eat stuff we can't get as readily at home. La Hacienda does have me thinking hard on giving it a try. That place gets really good reviews from what I've seen. Gosh, I'm kinda craving Mexican now. Hhmmm...maybe that's what we'll do for dinner tonight..........![]()
I have a deal for ya Rorey we send our DH's off to eat their boring bland food and you and I go eat around the world together
DH does not do sauces or gravies, no white foods, few vegetable only corn and brocolli, salads no dressing I am the complete opposite
Via Napoli going there for the first time in October
Corel Reef IMHO I do believe it is hit or miss, I have gone there twice first time I loved the food as did DH and my son second time my meal was overcooked not good at all I ended up leaving half of the shrimp
San Angel going there for the first time in October but switched from lunch to dinner as the dinner menu looks like it has more options DH might like who knows I may end up with his appitizer and he may be eating my entree if it is something he likes
Oh did I mention he does not like his food to touch on his plate and his method of eating drives me insane , he eat all his veggies, then potatoes then meat one thing at a time no mixing at all
I really made him stop and think once........I asked him how come he can eat a burger taking a bite which has burger cheese mushrooms bun etc, how come he does not eat it all separatelyI know I am bad

I received a frantic PM from the YC/BC pool noodles last night. They are demanding an appointment secretary. They admitted they are not very good at math or reading and they are afraid they might miss one of their assignments if no one is keeping track of the reservations for them!
If someone is willing to take on the job for the next few months, the noodles would appreciate it immensely! Me, too!
I have promised them that I would prominently display the schedule (well, as prominent as the bottom of page 1 can be) along with pictures of the noodles as they attain their new tattoos.
