2011 Yacht & Beach Club FAQ, Part II

After 3 years without WDW, we're finally going back (coming home?) this October 27-11/4!! Booked GV CL at BC, love the F&WF and we're going to MNSSHP on Halloween! I'm so excited. So far the BC IPO has been wonderful, we got all our ADR's Saturday morning as soon as they could book them. I hate to rush the summer away, but I can't wait til October!

Only 4 more days! I am so excited and so worried lol. We are doing a split stay 3 nights Pop May 7-10 followed by 4 nights BC CL. I am really looking forward to this trip with my wonderful DH to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. BC IPO has me a little worried. I hope I made the right choice.

Side note: Thank God and our Troops for a successful mission this weekend! Continue prayers for our military and families all over the world. My brother and his family are in Germany currently and I am a little worried but so proud!

Just makes you want to sing Proud to be an American!


Ok, now for my question, Is there a wieght limit on the SAB slide? My DH is a big kid at heart but is also a large man. He wants to go down it.

Prayers to your brother and his family that they stay safe. I have a brother who is deployed to Asia right now and I'm also very worried about his safety at this time. It's nice to see a little American pride thrown in among the vacation info! God bless our troops and what they do!

We were away for a long weekend. The girls had a twirling competition in Bel Air, MD (anywhere near you HockeyMomR?) and then DH ran the Gettysburg marathon.

Unfortunately last night I got a call that my Mom was rushed back to the hospital and is in ICU with yet another infection.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Wow, it seems there is a lot of negativity right now about the BC IPO. I shouldn't read other threads. So far I have nothing really to request and the couple things I have I got nice emails responses about (Wishes Dessert Party is all) but as I was reading that they are not very helpful. I hope it is just a bad couple of weeks. I hate reading negative things.

my cousin just got back from a week stay at the beach club and they loved the hotel and had a wonderful time. I recently strayed from the beach club and stayed at bay lake towers and I was very unhappy with our stay there, we missed the beach club the entire time

All I can tell you is that we have always had a great experience with IPO.
Last year when my dd broke her leg and we had to postpone our trip by two weeks - they had to cancel and make all new ADRs less than 60 days from our trip - they were wonderful. They have helped us with special cake orders and set up the Wishes Dessert Party, Illuminations Cruise, Afternoon Tea and Spa treatments. They also put together "baskets" from the BC Marketplace.

Now this is just our experience. I know that every once in awhile any IPO can drop the ball and someone can have a really bad experience.

BC is our favorite resort and we've stayed at the Grand FLoridian, Polynesian, YC, Hard Rock Hotel and to us they just don't hold a candle to BC.

It seemed before that we were one step forward and two steps back.
Now were just seem to be going backwards.

This year I really need a vacation - I think BC will be just the medicine I need.
