Just checking in.

We were away for a long weekend. The girls had a twirling competition in Bel Air, MD (anywhere near you HockeyMomR?) and then DH ran the Gettysburg marathon.

Unfortunately last night I got a call that my Mom was rushed back to the hospital and is in ICU with yet another infection.

Please keep us in your prayers.

First so sorry to hear your mom is back in the hospital. Prayers for your family.

And yes, Bel Air is about 40 minutes away. We travel to a rink near Bel Air several times a year for hockey games. We are in Anne Arundel County - further south, but you were so close. And wow twirling takes some traveling like hockey! Hope the competition was successful.

Robyn- so sorry to hear about your mom- I'm guessing that means any thoughts of surgery are put off yet again.

She and your whole family have been through so much. I hope your mom is somewhat able to keep her spirits up- that will help her best to heal.

I finally convinced my DH to let me book us 2 nights at the BC in a standard view club level room! I am very excited since we have never stayed at BC before!

Yesterday, my DH woke me up with the most beautiful nine words any Disboarder wants to hear..."Who wants to go to Disney next month?" It was music to my ears...50 more days before our Beach Club/Poly split stay.

I know that we are getting excited about being back, and some for the first time.

Is there anyone that needs to be added to the list?

Can you add us to the May group? May 11-14 CL BC!! It's our first time there so I can't wait!!

We are all packed and ready to go to the BC TOMORROW! We haven't seen my mom and dad since Christmas and we are excited to see them. I keep feeling like I should have planned more, but since this is our first trip with DD, my mom has a broken foot, and our first trip visiting from another time zone, we are just going to take it easy. I am just so excited to stay at the BC! It is such a dream come true. Thank you Disney for PIN codes or we couldn't afford it!

Thanks for the movie list. I want to try to do that one night.

Can someone verify the hours of the Crews Cup Lounge at the Yacht Club?

According to the front page info (not my info originally), I have midnight.

All ears and the DIS both list 10 pm

One reason I want to clarify this info is that the lounge has a pretty fancy-schmancy menu (I think they get some yummy stuff from the Yachtsman), and if it IS open until midnight, it gives late night travelers another dining option.

On our last trip (Dec 10-Jan11) we didn't arrive until 10:30. We were starving and went straight to the Crew's Cup Lounge. They were open until midnight, however, the menu gets pared down after 10. They go back to a basic menu but there was plenty to enjoy. They had wings, crab cakes, salads, etc. and of course the bar was open.

I love going through Santee!

We live a little north of South of the Border--that is in Dillon County, SC. We live in Robeson County, NC, near exit 2 on I95.

I don't envy the trip all the way from Orlando to Erie. That'll be what? About 18 hours?

Another Robesonian here. We live about 5 miles east of Lumberton. I grew up on the coast near Morehead City but have lived in Lumberton for the last 25 years! Small world.
