2011 Yacht & Beach Club FAQ, Part II

You tell Joeseph that Marlton Mom has really bad allergies too but that the Zyrtec and Singular really helped her so it's only a matter of time before he starts to feel better! Tell him to wash his hands frequently because when he is reacting to all the allergens in his environment his immune system is taxed and he is at risk for colds.

For the last 2 years now I've been a fiend about everybody washing their hands all the time and ESPECIALLY as soon as they come in the house.

I go to the doctor right away when I feel like I'm getting a cold. I'm a diabetic and colds always morph into sinus infections for me. I used to be stubborn and try and wait it out but now I've wised up and I make an appointment with my doctor right away to start treatment. Not everybody goes from a cold to a sinus infection but as a diabetic I do so that's why I go.

I know how miserable allergies make you feel so I really hope you feel better!

Joeseph loved the lamp! He said mom it is from that Christmas movie about the little boy who wants the bee bee gun! When we moved here Kentucky three years ago we had him tested and one of the things that he is very allergic to is Kentucky Blue grass, go figure. now everyone is starting to cut grass and he is down. With his asthma we watch for sinus infections and broncitis. One major reason why we home school. Every break from school he went back and was out for a week or two with broncitis or pnemonia. Singular and Zyrtec work but knock him out. We will be going to Myrtle Beach around the 5th of June and I am hoping for the salt water and sun to help break things up!
Thanks for all your laughs it is real neat to look forward to checking in on the board everyday. I am finishing up my BS in criminal justice and I do an assignment and give my self the reward of checking the boards afterwards. Two assignments down and two more to go. Talk to you later!

Question about pool toys...

We'll be moving to BC after the Disney Dream and WL before that. Are the kids allowed to bring pool toys? I bought water launchers from the Dollar Store for our gang going in August. They're long tubes you pump to spray water at each other.

I did buy a few extras for the adults.

I'm sure the TSA will have a ball with my luggage when they screen it... packing WMW weapons of mass water.

Refillable Mug questions...

Again, we'll be "coming" from WL. If we buy mugs there, hit the Dream, then rest at BC for a few days can we reuse the mugs we purchased at WL at BC?

Hello friends! We checked in yesterday morning and were surprised by a big load of pixie dust right off the bat---upgrade to club level! We have a standard view that is awesome! We overlook the solarium and are just four rooms down from the lounge. The only construction workers we've encountered were having a noodle duel and singing Under the Sea!?!? Stormalong Bay is even better than we anticipated. And the BEST thing happened today on our way back from Epcot for a late afternoon rest----we met Teena! She is beautiful and so sweet and genuine!!! No-one should ever feel too bashful to tell her "hi". She was so warm and easy to talk to. Thank you, Teena! I have now fulfilled my "see a celebrity while at BC" wish. ;-)

Hang in there Teena. That week break will help and being half way means you can start your countdown. It does wear you down so take care of yourself for the long run .

Just so you know July 11th is my birthday. Sounds like Peanut is going to be a chip off the old block. Can't wait to see Grandma pictures in August.

Speaking of August......We changed our trip from BCV's to BC CL. Disney keeps rolling out those 'room only' deals that I can't resist. (Remember way back when they said these were gonna end!) Really didn't have a hard time talking the DW into Club Level in August heat. Lounge + SAB = One happy family.

I think staying CL is even better in the summer heat!

I agree the lounge + SAB = one magical vacation!

To those of you that have gone down the slide at SAB, it's not that scary is it? I am a self-proclaimed scaredy cat. I am thinking about conquering it. DH doesn't believe me, so I must prove him wrong.

I haven't been on it, but it doesn't look to bad. DH found this video that shows the people actually riding the slide (with their camera) twice. lol If you forward the video to about the 5 minute mark you can see them on the slide. The rest of the video shows SAB.

I know what you mean.. mine hit SIX months today!!! I was able to make the reservations for the first 2 days this morning!! IPO will be making everything else Monday!!

Yes you can use the mugs that were purchased at the Wilderness Lodge when you are at the Beach Club, because they are good for your whole time at WDW which includes split stays. Plus why would you want to purchase the same set of mugs twice on the same vacation, which is the reason WDW started selling a generic design for all the resorts and they had that in mind for guests who do split stays like yourself.
