We got busy at the end of week and just got the chance to check back in.
Some information to share:

I did not see any posted height and weight maximums on the big slide. Lifeguard said that the only restriction is that rider must be able to ride alone. The tube looks like the size of a typical wateslide diameter. My son did end up with several scratches on his back - I guess from laying on his back, but then again he probably rode it 100 times -major prune skin!

Our CL room did have a DVD player with DVD available from CL concierge

There was a Nescafe coffee/cap/latte maker in the CL lounge. Had read somewhere awhile ago that they had them at the Contemporary but not at BC. I am a sissy coffee drinker and the cap tasted fine with the addition of flavored syrup.

1501 entrance was blocked by construction so I couldn't tell if it needed a key card. On the inside of the door, it day say emergency exit only. Don't know if it is marked that way all of the time or just during the construction. My husband is in law enforcement and never breaks posted rules - so he wouldn't let me peak out of it and they had a barricade up at the hedge line.

Attacking birds - yes, there were a few aggressive black birds escpecially around Hurricane H's.

Hot tub age - the only posted signage was the same signs that are around all of the pools- under 12 must be supervised. I know other places where we have traveled there are age minimums for hot tubs but did not see any here. Maybe the laws vary by state.

We found all forms of Disney transportation very dependable. Maybe we just always timed it right. Nice staff at the bus stop in the morning letting all know when to expect the next bus. The only time we had a problem is getting back from MK to the Wilderness Lodge. We had drove our car to dinner there and took their boat to MK, going back the boat dock look packed so we opted for their bus. We waited and waited - I got tired and hopped a Beach Club bus and my husband waited for the WL bus. It was about a 40 minute wait for him.

Albatross Pirate Cruise- my two sons loved this adventure. Would recommend. They couldn't stop talking about it and liked showing us where they went on the lake to look for their treasure.

CL worked out well for us. Provided a quick breakfast and snacks whenever we needed. Took advantage of most of their offerings. Almost felt like the regular
DDP was too much with the lounge. We felt we were eating all of the time. The concierges were helpful.

Room was great. Quiet, cool and comfortable. It was great to come back to after being at the parks. Mousekeeping was exceptional. We had towel animals every day except last. I think regulary mousekeeper was off because a few other things were not done as she had done all week.
Loved staying at the Beach Club - I think it would be hard to beat. Great resort, great staff and great location. Can't image not staying CL again. We were trying to balance being at the hotel and the parks. We almost got it perfect. I would have liked a little more time at the resort. The day the the boys did the Albatross Cruise, took daughter to BBB, then spent the remainder of day at resort. If we would have had this whole day at the resort then, we would have gotten a good balance.
Sorry this is so lengthy but I am bored to tears and in the midst of our 17 hour journey home. So reminiscing is passing the time! So sad to have left

but hope to return soon!
