Thanks sto6917 for your review. I'm not staying at BC but if people were giving looks to a toddler there I wonder what they will be doing to my little ones at the Regatta Club?! I hope it was just the heat and not how people feel in CL.

Don't worry - we've stayed at both BC and YC CL and never had a problem.
When we did our GG at BC CL there were 16 of us - from a 3 year old to my mom who turned 80 on the trip - no dirty looks from anyone!!!

Thanks...I guess I wasn't too worried but since YC is more of a convention kinda place I did start to wonder...No worries tho cause if DD6(soon to be 6) sees anyone giving her or her sisters disgusted looks, she would totallly say something

Dirty looks, not necessarily (and it honestly depends on who is in there at the time). We definitely saw plenty of children while we were there (and yes, there were a couple of wooden highchairs if you need them!). There are always some people who are going to be worried about children near open food. Just keep an eye on your little one near the food and all will be well. But don't sweat it if they do give you the stink eye- it's your vacation too!!!

Seriously though, what a cutie pie she is!!! I can only imagine how happy the whole family is with the new arrival!

Since you will be meeting in the front of Epcot, my experience with this is that they will not allow you to walk through the park (Dec. 2009 backstage tour for the Christmas displays met at the same place you will be going). Instead, we took a cab from YC to the front of Epcot ($10). We took the cab receipt to the YC concierge desk where they gave us a credit against our room bill for the amount of the cab fare. They do this since they do not have bus service to Epcot's front door.

Heard this was a great backstage tour. We saw some of them riding around when we were there on the Christmas displays tour. Looked like fun. Wish I could do it.

Interesting that you were able to get reimbursed for your cab fare. Did you ask about getting your fare back, or did a CM volunteer that info?

We have taken 2 Epcot tours when we have stayed at YC. Stayed at Club level both times. Even with asking for advice/ direction on how to get to these, we were never told we could get reimbursed for our cab fare. ( As a matter of fact, we did the Christmas tour in Dec 2009, too! ) We weren't really worried about the $10 fare, but it did seem strange that no effort is made to help get guests to these things. Would have been nice to know we could get reimbursed.

We have stayed at YC Regatta Club at least 10 times. There have been many families with little kids every time we've been there. It's Disney; there are kids all over. We are in our mid 50's traveling alone & we expect kids at Disney! I actualy enjoy watching the little ones...I can't wait for grandkids so we can go with our own little ones. I'd much rather look at little kids than some of the adults who roll out of bed & right into the lounge; but that's a whole other thread!!! You will be fine, I promise! Have a wonderful vacation, you certainly deserve it!!!

Ah Congratulations Teena - Lilley Grace is so beautiful and what a gorgeous name! Girl babies are so much more fun too shop for and so expensive but they are so precious! Enjoy being a Grandma!

My DH has a medical condition that makes walking long distances hard on him. We would like to request a room, 1st floor with a patio, close to transportation and the pool. Is there such a room, that is close to those areas?

Yacht Club or Beach Club?

Anything close to the pool and transportation would also be close to the lobby so you should probably request "near lobby".

For Beach Club, it looks like the rooms on the 1st floor map that you see jutting out to the left of the lobby (#s 1630-1647).

For Yacht Club, #1147 to 1163 probably.
