99 Days!!!!!!!!![]()

I can't believe we will be there in 99 days...doing the double digit
CL here we come!!!!! I'm so excited, finally broke into double digits!
Thanks for posting this.OK, just got back from Beach Club. I wanted to give you the good, bad, and ugly.
I'll start with the bad/ugly, so I can end on a high note.
1.First, we had some trouble with our toilet, of all things. The CMs were nice, but we had to call several times. It just seemed like who ever came to fix it, never quite got it all straightened out. It all culminated with the toilet finally over flowing to the point that it poured into the sink area, which is carpeted.
DH turned the water off, until someone came to address the problem. But the staff was nice in dealing with the issue while we were at the parks. They even gave us a ride in their suburban, so we didn't have to wait for the bus to MK.
2.The issue that actually bothered me the most, (no it wasn't the toilet) was the package and groceries that seemed to be missing for a while. The bell hop came up to deliver our bags from DME. I asked him about our groceries and package (which was delivered 5 days before we arrived.) He didn't have a clue, and started telling me about picking up my package at the convention center. (Whoa!) I called Wego. They must have gotten something straightened out, as I got a call from (front desk?) saying my groceries were on their way. OK, what about my package? Well the CM told me there was a box there, but it wasn't addressed to anyone...but she suspected it was mine because my name was in the return address. (OK, please note that my name was clearly marked on the box. I addressed it just as it is written on this thread.) But regardless she found it right? Excepted over three hours later, I still had no package. Maybe I'm expecting too much?I just figured that a package sitting there would get to me sooner than, say DME checked luggage. Unfortuantely, it was late at this point, my children and DH had all fallen asleep with their pjs or brushing teeth etc. because it was all in the box I shipped. (Again, didn't expect to take this long.) Finally after 11pm I went to the front desk, and asked the CM. He went into the back room and immediately came out with the box. (You mean it wasn't lost? It wasn't en route somewhere, about to be delivered?) He asked it I'd like it to be taken up. It was heavy, so I said yes, even though, I admit I hesitated. It did come up immediately a that point, I believe, by the manager. He wouldn't accept a tip, which I think was the right thing to do. Perhaps this wouldn't have been a big deal to me if we arrived early in the day, or if DS and I didn't have headaches since we touched down at MCO. But it is what it is.
3. Refurb. Actually wasn't a big deal to us. It was there. In fact it was right near us. We were staying very close to EPCOT. But it still was not something that really impacted us too much.
The good.
1. BC is beautiful. Great location, nice view. Nice places to sit and unwind, on beach. I just like the atmosphere.
2. Great activities from SAB, to the movies/s'mores on the beach. Even the pool activities, the kids enjoyed. No need to be bored at BC.
3. So many options for food, whether it's BW or BC/YC. But what we enjoyed the most was using our park hoppers and going into EPCOT almost everyday for lunch at WS. That's the best! But honestly I was impressed with the option right at the resort. We ate at Beaches and Cream twice (one kitchen sink, thank you!), at CMC twice (one dinner, one breakfast.) Wish we could have gotten over to Yachtsman, but wasn't in the cards this time.
4. Love the proximity to Epcot.
5. Enjoyed using the friendships to DHS. We ended up seeing Fantasmic twice. I doubt we would have done this if we stayed at a MK resort. We just wouldn't have bothered with the buses. One night we took the boat over just for Fantasmic. It's relaxing too.
6. I met Teena!! Right before our CMC dinner. Teena, you are terrific. You're so nice. I kept wondering if I'd run into you. I swear I wasn't stalking you. But I considered asking for an autograph.
Next time DH wants to try another resort, not that he didn't like BC. But just to experience something new. I like to try different hotels too. I'm just concerned that MK resort are going to seem too quiet/boring for me now. Yikes! that and I'll really miss eating at WS all the time.
OK, that's my BC report.
Well, officially I reached 180 days to go today, and we all know what that means - yep, ADRs. So at 2:55 am my time I was logging onto the WDW site.![]()
Did pretty well, until the site (or my connection) went poof at 3:45 am. I might have been slowed a tad by my compulsive quest for a lunch ADR at the Garden Grill. So, after the computer poof, I called at 4 am my time to finish up the last of 10 days of deluxe dinning ADRs. And may I add a personal thank you to the CM who graciously explained to me about GG not serving lunch.
I still have 2 TS to 'spend,' which brings me to my YACHT CLUB related question (to abide by the dis rules, as I am strictly pro coloring w/in the lines) we are not WDW breakfast people mostly because we never quite accept that WDW is in another time zone, but we will need to make 2 breakfast ADRs to use all of our credits - any suggestions as to where? Keeping in mind that the closer to the YACHT CLUB the restaurant is, the later we can sleep in.
On a personal note - I would like to announce, that I have managed to figure out how to add a ticker, see below. However, as I was accomplishing this personal triumph on very little sleep, I didn't realize that what I thought was the friendship boat steaming towards Epcot's WS entry past the Beach Club was actually, well..., another boat heading elsewhere, c'est la vie.![]()

Has anyone order from Garden Grocer or Wegoshop?
DH had one of those really funny breakdowns when he found out he could only get Coke Products on site. I actually had to laugh at him about it. Once he got over threatening to stay off site and meet up each morning (provided he could find a hotel that carries Pepsi products), we decided we are going to have to get Mountain Dew to the resort somehow. And while I know BC IPO is amazing, I don't think that is a request they can help with. So I am going to order from one of the stores that delivers since we won't have a car.
Here now! We are in the 3700 rooms and can see them working to the left of us, in fact workers just walked by dd on the roof haha! We got the full balcony but we only see roof and the top of the boardwalk.
Just wanted to pop in and say hi. We will be returning back to Kentucky tommorow from SC. We had a lot of fun in Myrtle Beach but I look forward to catching up with all my friends on this board. So I will be back on here in a couple of days.
I just wanted to suggest checking out Turner Drug for delivery your Mt. Dew. I recommended them to a friend who has an "addiction" as well and she had great success having it delivered to the BC. They had delivered a prescription to us at BC in the past as well.
Just checked the website (www.turnerdrug.com) and they charge $5.99 per 12 pk of cans plus a $7.50 delivery charge. They also have other Pepsi products.
If you are not looking to order a lot of food/drinks to meet minimum order at the others, thought this might be a good alternative.

I'm doing pretty good. Thanks for asking. Just waiting for more appts. Having fun reading & I just hit 98 days left. I can't wait to surprise the family. Kids know we are going to be staying CL but DH does not. DH knows when we are going but kids do not. This is so much fun. I can't wait for campfire & movie but I'm wondering what to expect cause there isn't much info on it. I've seen the pics & schedule but does anyone have pics of the movie & how do you sit & watch it?Welcome mouselike! doccoc's advice is spot on. Follow it and enjoy!
And speaking of doccoc....You doing OK? Still sending prayers your way.

Ticker looks good, it is the boats that head to DtD from POR, POFQ, SSR & OKW. It is going by SSR, you can see it in the background so it has to be the POR/POFQ or the OKW boat. Love that boat ride. The POR/POFQ goes by the THV. It was really cool going by as they were fixing/building them. Very relaxing
LOL Not that is makes a difference but I'm pretty sure the picture has POFQ in the background, which makes me think the boat is coming from DTD. The way the railings/walkway are look more like POFQ than SSR.![]()
But yes, it is a very relaxing ride. My mom was obsessed with all the spanish moss on the way-it's mentioned in a book series she was hooked on at the time. Too bad we won't get to take that ride/have time to visit those resorts when we are staying at the BEACH CLUB VILLAS in 116 days (almost time for the Double Digits Dance!).
