2011 World Series

Don't count your chickens too early. Rangers lost the first game of the ALCS last year and the ALDS this year.

That is a fear, as the Cards also lost game one of the NLDS / NLCS before winning the series.

They did however win game 1 of the 2006 WS over the Tigers and that turned out ok.

It's baseball!! You never know what's going to happen!! :thumbsup2 As Ron says..."that's how baseball go!"

Congrats Cards on winning Game 1....

I still sit here in amazement. If you had told me the Cardinals were going all the way to the World Series just two short months ago I would have laughed at you (and yes I am a true red Cardinal fan) but they weren't having the best season.

They really have made one of the best comeback stories in most of sports history.

I know mid July early August I thought they were done. now they are leading the series

I know right. My mom however has watched every single game this year and said she knew it was going to happen.:lmao:

Great series so far! That was an exciting last inning (especially for us Rangers fans!).

Go RANGERS!!!

I grew up in Dallas and went to many Ranger games with my uncles so I'm happy to see them in their second consecutive World Series even though I'm a bit worried about their hitting :3dglasses

Not gonna lie...I really didn't think the Rangers were going to come back last night but WOO HOO!!!! :cheer2::cheer2: GO RANGERS!!!

I get so sick of hearing about the "low ratings World Series". Do we really want/need the Yankees, Red Sox or Phillies in every WS?

Funny thing is lowest ratings in history was NY v NY. That said, if the post season was to ever have the NY v STL, they would go through the roof!

As far as Sunday Night Football v game 4, that depends. Game 1 had 16 mill and Game 2 had 20 mill. If the games are tight (which I doubt in Arlington) then Game 4 could be higher. :thumbsup2

It might rain this evening but it looks unlikely in the Arlington area. The weather guys think the rain will stay to the north and east. Here's hoping!

Nice! If the rain stays away it will be perfect baseball weather. I wonder if it is hard for the players to go from cold here to warm there? Probably not.

Go Cards!!!! I'm not going to fingernails left at this rate!!

Tony take this pitcher out!!!! He's giving the game awat
