Since I am snowed in under 2 feet of snow I am thinking about where we could go on vacation in 2011.;)

I usually like to do a couple short weekend trips locally and then Disney of course! But I am thinking of something different for next year but not sure what.:confused3. Our kids are at the age where taking them out of school for a vacation is not an option anymore, so that makes my planning a little more difficult!

So, tell me what are your plans?

We normally cruise once per year, and do some small weekend jaunts to Florida, or somewhere warm. :)

We are hopefully planning on going to Italy this summer. We will do it either on a cruise or on land. Unsure of the details, but this is our "hope". My children would like to see some of their grandfather's homeland.

Turkey over Spring Break & the US West over the summer. At least Colorado & the Grand Canyon but I'm not sure where else.

IF we go anywhere on vacation this coming year, it will be a short trip with the HS marching band. there's nothing planned for sure yet, but someone mentioned gatlinburg, tn.

well..:surfweb:I have been booked for a while now..

ALASKA on the Wonder and a 4 day trip on the Dream..

Dh is taking ds19 and ds20 to China with him on a business trip in a few weeks. They will also stop in the San Francisco area.

Dh and I will go to Disney in May and December.

Anything else, we will just have to see. All of this will be contingent upon my health.

Israel in the summer. It is DD's Bat Mitzvah present. We will see what else we can squeeze in (right now we may be ab;e to swing a Disney trip in Feb....maybe)

We are going on a Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Magic during spring break in March. We leave in 88 days - but who's counting :rolleyes1

Florida/cruise.
East coast for a light house tour.
UAE in Nov... can't wait!

So far we definitely have a western Caribbean Disney Cruise planned. We're also thinking of doing a motorcycle trip up to Prince Edward Island and back....

We had such an amazing time in Egypt that I'm having a difficult time deciding what will come after. It doesn't help that it's my husband's turn to pick.

So far, in the running are:

1. Amazon
2. Russia
3. Sailboating through the Greek Isles

Wow you guys have some really great trips planned!!:worship:
So many people going on cruises too! We have never been because I am scared of it for many reasons. But, so many people tell us we have to try it!

DH won't cruise either-after he saw "titanic", he said he'd NEVER step foot on a cruise ship, lol. i'd like to go on one at some point. we're planning on going to wdw for our 20th wedding anniversary in 2012, IF we can swing it. the HS marching band usually does a trip each year, and that year will be a "big" trip year (this year, they went to NYC), so we may not be able to do both.

Tampa Bay, Florida hopeful Busch Gardens and Sea World

Nashville day trip

King Island with the boys scouts

TSU VS FAMU in September with the boy scouts

Honda Battle of Bands in Atlanta maybe not sure yet.

I would love go to the Bahamas with Boys Scouts but it not happening.

Wow! Some of you go to some exotic places. I'm expecting and am due in August. So I am hoping for Disney in May then a trip to Rehoboth Beach, DE in June (we go with my family as well)

We´ll stay in Europe. Probably do a road trip in central Europe and maybe do a home exchange somewhere along the way. We won the amazing prize of 365 free hotel nights with Radisson Blu Hotels and Resorts and definitely want to use those as much as we can during the trip :)

We're leaving in 3 weeks for Disneyworld, Daytona Beach and a Royal Caribbean cruise!:banana::banana:

Summer will be spent going up as often as possible to our property up north.

2012 is our 15th wedding anniversary and DH's 40th Bday so that year we are planning a Disneyland and Hawaii(DVC)trip!

My mom has a house in Rehoboth beach with her boyfriend. I would love to spend some time there in the summer but DH hates the boyfriend so that won't happen anytime soon! ;). We have been twice and love it there but what a nightmare those trips turned out to be!:scared1:

Well, taking my DS11 to Disney in Feb for a few days, because my DS15 will be there with the band.

The rest of our vacation money will be used to send DS15 to Hawaii with the band over Thanksgiving 2011. I highly doubt we'll be able to go, since it's going to cost $2500 to send him. :rolleyes1

Hoping to at least get a cheap weekend in at the beach (Ocean City MD) sometime this summer.
