I joined the DIS boards recently and have found some really great info I wouldnt have otherwise.
Here's the problem...it's like a drug. DIS has lured me in with a 'taste' and now I'm insatiable! Before this site, I would have never known that rates for the next year were put out around this time. I would have randomly checked the Disney site and gone about my life. But NOOOOO, I'm checking all the time and NEED those packages released now!

For the past three years, I have booked our vacations mid-August and I was okay with that. Until........somebody mentioned August 3rd to me and now I'm chomping at the bit to book! Sounds like it's going to be mid-August so I need to just try and chill.

I liked it when package rates were realeased early August (and not in the middle of a month). In the past rates seemed to have been available in the first week of August

• 2007 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released August 6, 2006.
• 2008 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released August 5, 2007.
• 2009 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released August 3, 2008.
• 2010 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released August 2, 2009.
