bumping on this train! So what kind of pkg deals do you think will be released? hoping for something great for our Feb trip!!

The deals won't come out until the end of Sept. at earliest (that is when 4/3 dropped last year) We are waiting on the REGULAR package prices to come out. Ticket increase was released today to take effect on thursday, so mabye Thursday??? Does anyone know if package prcie release has coiencided with tickt price increas in past years, or lagged behind a bit?

ME! I've been checking everyday on the Theme Park boards to see if the ticket prices were out yet. Thankfully they just came out today ! Now, I'm waiting on both the resorts and DDP so we can start planning and find out how much OOP expense we will be laying out (we will have between $375 & $435 hotel credit by May of next year from a bowling league that starts next month).

The anticipation and suspense are killing me here! I'm so right now!

I made a basic package reservation for April 2011. Can't wait for the package rates to come out so I can add my tickets and dining. Hope they end up offering some discounts. Going April 9-16

I called to cancel a reservation I had for late May/early June 2011 because I decided I'd rather book myself online. Was trying to find a Standard room at CR and kept having to ask about different dates. Anyway, the CM asked why I was canceling so I told her I just wanted to wait for rates to come out and book then and was told it would be about two weeks, so I think mid-August is a safe bet!

ARG! All I know is that if I don't get an "official" Disney trip on my calendar soon I'm going to need some serious therapy! Perhaps Disney should add that to their next "package deal"?... "Your choice of free dining or psycho therapy to get you thru to your next vacation"

The Basic package has been out since mid July. You can go ahead and book your package reservation now and get that needed confirmation number and Disney can take your money now.

Once the other 2011 packages come out (the ones with tickets and/or dining), then you just upgrade your Basic package to MYW.

I'm with you Molli, I NEED to pay my deposit at the very least!! Doesn't Disney understand this?

You and Molliday can book the Basic package for your 2011 dates now and make that deposit NOW and stop worrying about that part of it. The Basic package is a 2011 package. You still make the $200 deposit and confirm your resort/room. The Basic package has been out since mid July.

Then when the other packages (with ticket and/or dining) comes out, you upgrade to MYW to add the tickets and/or dining.

I understand the need to get MYW prices, but if you're stressing about booking a package so that you can get the deposit out of the way, you can get that out of the way now!
