2011 Point Guides

I'm new to all this DVC stuff, but I'm wondering when the new yearly point guides come out? We are waiting for a 2011 cruise point guide.

Since the DCL itineraries for 2011 aren't even published yet I'd say you've got awhile to wait! DCL sometimes releases their itineraries in the fall (like November) and sometimes in mid-winter (end of January). Point charts follow along much later. They do not come out at the same time. They will let you book a cruise with DVC points based on an estimated number at the time the schedules are published & you can cancel it later if you don't have enough points when the charts come out. I can tell you that the 4 n cruise we did in summer '08 in a Cat. 10 for 3 ppl has gone up by about 87 points for 2010. But it's really had to estimate what you will need for 2011 since the itineraries aren't announced yet. I would just say more than what they require for 2010.

Meanwhile, we're all still waiting for our 2009 planners. DVC never sent them out for this year.
