Not sure where we'll stay yet - family of 5 - two rooms at Pop, DVC point rental (if I can figure that out) or squeeze into a deluxe on the monorail line (Tee hee...)....noticed the marathon page at wdw website now has "travel" info and a link to 2011 bookings but when I called to inquire about the special "weekend dine plan package" (called 407-WDW-IRUN), the poor CM had no clue! Said the 2011 packages weren't out yet??? Funny - I could do the room/park ticket bit on the website, just no dining options! Oh well - guess I can wait....NOT!

Feb 2011 for us!! can't wait, 1st trip for our youngest who will be 18 months old. The big sisters are already talking about it.

So, I felt bad adding a ticker fro next year's trip when I haven't gone on this year's yet. BUT, I figured that when I get home from my trip I'll be happy to see that my next trip is only a year away (only, not really)

January 2011 - Probably CBR, but possibly Contemporary if we can swing the money. Right now it's looking like Contemporary.

May 2011 - 7 nights/8 day and I think we are going to try the Yacht club this time! We love the Poly and have been to the Wilderness Lodge, but hubby wants to try something new...we will see!

We are going back in Jan 2011, 10 days baby!!!! Last time it was 5 days and not enoughtime at all. I can not wait to see any up coming deals and getting some plans together. I a crazy planner.

Got ya added to the list! 10 days is great. We did that many last September for the first time and it was so much better. Now my dream is two weeks but I don't think we will be able to that unless we win the lottery!

Presidents day is Feb 21st...and Mardi Gras is March 8th...I am THINKING 2/26-3/5/2011....think we'd be safe with that time?

I think ALL times of year are busy and do-able with advanced planning.

That said... we went that same week back in the late 90's and found it VERY crowded. We were thankful we were staying at a moderate resort since we kept saying "forget this!" and leaving the parks in favor of the quiet of the resort!

So go on Tourguide Mike and plan your week out to avoid the crowds! We were still newbies back then and didn't research our trip in advance.

It was a year ago today that I received my free dining pin code for our 2009 trip I am so ready to book for 2011.

We are going to do Either May or Sept 2011!!!!!!!! I Cant wait... we have been just dreaming of our next trip since we returned from our last one in May of 08... it just cant come soon enough for me... I am so excited!!!!! We have decided on staying at Beach Club and we will do the Dulx Dining plan (LOVE THE FOOD!!!!!!!) I really want to do some of the "other" things this time... like possibly the tea part with DD or a Spa treatment for me!!!

Probably a silly question, but since I've never been to Disney I'm not sure how this works - should I be looking to book now for Feb 2011? I think we are planning to stay at the CBR.

You can book a room only right now. The packages won't be out until probably August so I always wait until then.

Which is annoying, but what can you do August is less than six months from my travel date (Jan '11, depending on what day the packages are released), so I'm just grateful that you don't need a reservation number to be able to use the online ADR service. I'm so paranoid about not getting two of our reservations.
