2011 Planning - join me!

I had to cancel our Bounceback reservation for Dec. at AKL last night b/c my DH can't travel then. It broke my heart to let go of our rate of $150 a night. :sad1: So that the BB wasn't completely wasted, I booked 2 nights at Boardwalk Inn in July for a quick trip with my mom. I've never been without my family, but it will be good to get away with my mom (hopefully ;)).

Anyway, I went ahead and changed our family trip to AKL for February 2011. It was painful to make the ressie at $400 a night when I had one at $150, but I had no choice. I realize that that price will go down when rates come out for that time frame, but it still hurt to pay for the 1 night deposit.

I guess now the plan is to keep our eyes open for 2011 discounts!!! :wizard:

Ok, guys . . . I just got back from Disney yesterday. It was a too short trip and I'm ready to start planning for 2011.

What do you think, October or Early November? I'm looking for low crowds and cooler temps. Our last three trips were all in January and I miss Splash Mountain. We are going to try another time.

We are in for a 2wk stay in June 2011, 11nts at WDW and 3 at US. Our last trip was June 2009 and we were already starting to plan our next trip on the way home!

Our August 2011 just changed from my DH and I to us, our 3 kids and my parents, NOW I have to change all my plans LOL

HELLO-- Planning a 2011 trip-- dates are tenatively set for May 29 through June 6. We plan on staying at the Contemporary and doing the Deluxe Dining Plan. It will be a trip to celebrate my son's 5th Birthday. I can't wait- I am already planning out the details!!!!

WOOHOO found another planning thread for me. We are going down again Dec 2011. Just trying to decide if we will be adding 4 nights on DCL and 5 nights WDW or 10 nights at WDW. We are DVC so we go every Dec. Since I just booked our Dec 2010 trip we need to start talking about 2011!

December 2011 - planning on going back to the land and sea package. Four days in the parks and three days on the cruise!

You are all on the list now! I am finally not the only one going in September ;)

So, I was watching a video on youtube giving a tour of the THV and they are beautiful. Really look like their worth the money!! But, I don't know if I'm going to like being so far from everything. So Wilderness Lodge is still in consideration too.

:woohoo::cheer2:
Not sure where we'll stay yet - family of 5 - two rooms at Pop, DVC point rental (if I can figure that out:confused3) or squeeze into a deluxe on the monorail line (Tee hee...:scared:)....noticed the marathon page at wdw website now has "travel" info and a link to 2011 bookings but when I called to inquire about the special "weekend dine plan package" (called 407-WDW-IRUN), the poor CM had no clue! Said the 2011 packages weren't out yet??? Funny - I could do the room/park ticket bit on the website, just no dining options:sad2:! Oh well - guess I can wait....NOT! :rolleyes1
