2011 Holiday Tour. Who has booked and when?

I was wondering if you we were in the same group as us or not! I completely agree with you that Kristen did an amazing job and having the parade seats and getting to ride HMH and IASW were worth the ticket price! I hope my daughters excitement didnt bother anyone! She loved being "the leaders helper!"

she was so cute! my DD was the same on a tour we took back in 2004 and was just as excited as your DD!

I go on the tour next week on 1/2. Can't wait. I think we had Kristen two years ago. She was very good.

Hi there. Hubby and I will be on the 3pm tour on 1/2. Is that the same one you are on? I am very excited to see the park all decked out!

We did the tour at 3 pm on 12/31/11. Our tour guide was Sarah. It didn't take long for our 8 y.o. DD to take a huge liking to her - asking if she could ride with Sarah on Haunted Mansion and Small World. Our DD really enjoyed the tour and little treats along the way.

Thank you, DIS'ers, for the tips about the tour. It was a huge hit with DH and DD (I surprised them)! The tour was especially worth the price on NYE as the park was really getting packed at 3 pm! When DH saw that we had front row seats for the parade, his face lit up like a Christmas tree. Normally we have to stand and balance DD on some planter so she can see. And she's always disappointed because she can't interact with the characters. Well, this time, she had tons of interaction with the characters and nothing blocking her view. :thumbsup2

:disrocks:x1,000,000!!!

Little to be posting on this, but we took the tour on Christmas Day. There was eight of us. This morning my son said our whole vacation was great except the tour. Hmmm. It was different than what we had expected. We were told more about traditions around the world. I thought it was going to be more Disneyland related facts and info. So my party was not thrilled with this part. The best part for all of us was the walk-off on Haunted Mansion. None of us had ever been on a ride where we were walked off so we thought it was fun. We paid $440 for the thrill of a walk-off. :thumbsup2

We did get fastpasses because the walk-off took so long we never did make it to Small World. The kids did enjoy the cocoa and cookie and it was nice having our own seats, even though we had some some rude people that stood instead of using their seat, so we were fortunate enough to watch the parade around them standing in front of their reserved seat. Duh. :)

Last minute! I will be going on the 3:00PM tour this Saturday the 7th. I went last year with my DBF and we had a great time. This time I'm going with my cousin. She's never been to DLR during the holidays. Can't wait to eat the chocolate covered ears off of my gingerbread man!

I was on the 1/1 noon tour with Emily. We had a great time! There were 9 total on our tour and we got to chat a little bit. We loved watching the parade from our seats, but the hot cocoa was probably overkill on a 80 degree day! :thumbsup2

Highly recommend this tour especially when IASW and HMH have long lines. We were able to sneak on and off quickly, even went up the exit on IASW. My first time seeing IASW all decorated for the holidays and thought they had done such a great job. I am excited to try another tour maybe on my next visit as I loved asking our tour guide all kinds of questions. She was very gracious and answered them all. She even explained the history of their costumes and the Disney legend Cicely Rigdon.

This is definitely a holiday themed tour but I learned about Disneyland as well. Our guide even showed us pictures of old parades while we were waiting! There was a really sweet picture of Walt on a parade float reading to his daughters. :goodvibes

YIKES I wouldn't have been happy if someone had stood during the parade in the reserved seating area :sad2: That was worth the price of the tour for us.

Our tour guide was Eddie last week.
