2011 Free Dining Bounceback...

I know the 2010 GP FD was just announced today, but I am curious how many people believe a free dining bounceback will be offered for 2011. If there is one, will you book it? :)

I believe!:thumbsup2 UK residents are already being offered to book their stays (among other dates) for Aug 1-Nov 18 2011 timeframe. They have until Nov 1, 2010 to do so. So my guess is that BB will be offered to the ones staying during the current FD promo (Aug 15-Oct 2). If that's the case, I will definetly make the trip to book it. I'm travelling to GA this summer I'm sure 6-7 hours drive is not that much:)

How do you find out about the FD bounceback offer? Is it in certain category of rooms?
TIA

It is supposed to be in all rooms. I didn't get a flyer last time. If I don't get one this time I just going to call the bounceback line - 8844. :goodvibes

How do you find out about the FD bounceback offer?
On DISboards.com, of course! ;)

In previous years, I had the full details of the bounceback including the phone number and promo code before I even went to the park. We didn't have a flyer in our room, but I was able to call and book it while I was there.

May I ask if FD is offered at values and moderate resorts what is the approximate costs per night (our pricing in the UK is entirely different)
Thanks:hippie:

This will be our first time going - what is bounceback and FD? I take it you book your trip for the following year while you are there - but would like more details.

FD=Free Dining

Most of us on this thread are talking about the Free Dining bounceback offer. Most guests get a flyer in their room telling of the Free Dining offer for the next year. It must be booked before the end of your stay (check out date-they close earlier than midnight). There is a $200 deposit.

It shouldn't be too much longer til we find out what the offer will be for 2011. I just hope they keep it the same as last year. I did double check before booking that I would receive the DDP when staying at a value resort.

Disney released a news press about 4 months ago stating that they are going to cutback on discounts and offers this year. I am not sure if that is really going to happen in this economy, but we shall see. If they were not bluffing, I would expect to see less free dining and more room only discounts.

Seems that they aren't holding back on the Free Dining to me. They have offered it again outside of the regular Free Dining period (end of Aug-end of Sept).

Last year they offered the regular dining plan to those staying in value resorts, this year they only offered the QSDP. That is a big cutback. They extended free dining last year as well.

Just a quick heads up for anyone following this thread and waiting for the 2011 bounceback... It's no longer necessary.

Disney just opened up the free dining promotion for many dates from October 2010 through September 2011.

Of course we can hope that they'll still do a bounceback and that it'll be better than the public offer, but I kind of doubt that'll happen.

I am still waiting to see if someone at/or returning from a trip will post any bounceback.... just wondering if they will give a better deal to those actually attending the parks :confused3

It seems strange to me that they are already offering the Free Dining for the regular Free Dining time (Aug-Sept).

After all the posts about how Disney wasn't going to offer as many discounts this next year-seems like they aren't slowing the discounts to me.

They seem to keep us on our toes, trying to figure out what they are going to do next.

Someone on the Disney Resorts thread has posted that they've been able to get regular DDP at Pop on a BB. Here's a link to the thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2532162&page=2

If that's the case (regular DDP for Value Resorts), then we'll definitely book BB. If not, it's offsite for us next year.

yeah, im on that thread too... only the person hasn't answered all the ?s that have been asked since she posted that... such as, was it reg to begin with or did she have to upgrade, dates, ticket days..... so many are still waiting to see if someone else posts about BB or if that OP answers.

She may not even know cause she didn't get a flyer she called the 8844 number.

I just answered some of the questions. My guess is that the bounceback is for regular dining plan for all resorts and QSD to the GP (value resorts).

I would love to continue getting the regular dining plan for bounceback next year. I would stay offsite if regular dining is not offered for bb value resorts.

You will definetly get regular dining plan for next year if you book while you stay onsite this year:)
