**2011** Epcot Food & Wine Festival HAS ENDED. 2012 Festival 9/28 - 11/11

Thanks. I have emailed them. Any info on where it will be located? I have the seasonal pass with blackout dates, so I'm out of luck if it is being held inside the park.

it says Wonders Retreat at EPCOT, so I am guessing it is in the Park...:sad2:

Wonders Retreat is in the old Wonders of Life Pavillion at Epcot. The Festival Center will also be located in the Wonders of Life Pavillion.

That is what I thought but was not an expert so I just left it out there...

It does not say that Epcot admission is required. Sometimes they meet guests at guest services outside the gate and escort you in specifically for the event. If they call you back, which they will do if there is room to get credit card information, just ask them at that time. Reservations are on a first come (returned email) first serve basis.

News for PFTS -
The weekly Party for the Senses grand tasting event beginning Oct. 8 and with a new Saturday evening time of 7:30-10 p.m. featuring tempting bites from eminent chefs, more than 50 wines and beers and live entertainment presented by Cirque du Soleil.
No dates for the 1st weekend and no info on Wine View Lounge - We will be sad if the Wine View is gone!
Also a later time to start and end!!

Sorry if this is a repeat question but here goes....

We will be going to the LAST day of the food and wine festival this year. We plan to spend the morning doing rides then head to the WS after lunch.

Will they still have all the food and drink selections available? :confused3Will it be super busy? Are there any special things available on the last evening?:confused3

This is the first year that all the "kids" are old enough to drink and we wanted to sample everything "around the world"
Thank you for your help:worship:

So will we. We enjoyed it so much last year that we are looking forward to it this year. :sad1: :sad2:

So will we, springing for the Wine View Lounge is the only way that we can attend. My partner needs a dedicated table, we can't bring our scooter tray table attachments (too bulky on the plane) to do it the normal way.

They 'usually' have all of the food and drink selections available. There are still beverage and food deminars going on in the Welcome Center until 6 pm on the last day of the festival.

Whew! Glad to hear this! We will also only be there for the last day and we have talked it up so much, it would be a big disappointment to the guys if there wasn't any food left!:rotfl:

Fantastic! Thank you for posting - can't wait to see the details!:yay:

Are the "Food and Wine Pairings (Monday,Tuesday)" the basic events held at the Odyssey building? The ones that didn't cost that much?

If so, are they normally worth it? We will be at Epcot on a Monday and wondering if I should book one of these or just do the world showcase stuff and not worry about it.

In the past the Food and Wine Pairings were held at the countries restaurants (Le Cellier, Bistro, etc.) They were around $35pp and a great deal. Then they cut them back to only a few countries and raised the price. It will be interesting to see what they do this year!

There is no PFTS the Saturday that I am going to be at WDW. :headache:

So sorry to hear that franandaj. I hope they have another special event that evening you will be able to attend.

Only 5 Party for the Senses this year! I'd imagine those reservations will go faster than they have in previous years. Good news though that the Wine View Lounge will return! Pam Brandon on the Disney Parks Blog answered a question regarding that event.
