2011 dining plan: PRICES, BROCHURE AND RESTAURANT LIST DATED 12/10/10

Last year, the updated brochure with the third-party restaurants came out on 12/30. So likely there will be another month before anything is finalized.

I really hope they don't wait until then. My trip starts January 1st and I have 2 reservations at places that are not on yet.

So I was looking to see if the new brochure was up yet and noticed something weird - Capt Jacks isn't listed on the first draft, even though it is Disney owned? Or am I wrong about the ownership?

Another thank you. We are arriving at CSR on 1/30 and I had a stroke when I saw they weren't on the list. They are not giving me much of a time buffer, but I can breathe a little easier now. Thanks again.

Just booked for June 2011 with the dining plan and I am finding very conflicting info on Le Cellier.
Online dining reservations show Le Cellier as a "Signature Dining" for Lunch and Dinner. But the brochure for 2011 shows icons for Lunch as only Table Service and Dinner with the "2" for signature.

Also, my travel agent stated that she has been getting different answers depending on who you talk to. The last person she spoke to, I believe dining reservations, stated that it was Signature for Lunch and Dinner after March 1st, 2011.

Does anyone have a definite ruling on this?

There is no word yet on what the new menu(s) will be, but that's the DDP Credit information that is available.

It's too bad that the Disney reps don't have a better handle on this and are spreading incorrect information. Especially since Disney has published the correct information for their employees to reference.

Is it on the 2010 plan? If so, as one credit? I have free dining for May...we have always paid OOP for meals so it's a little overwhelming having to think about what restaurant i choose. How about Tutto Italia? Is it on the 2010 as one credit? Thanks again!!!

Both La Hacienda and Tutto Italia are on the 2010 plans for 1 credit.

We're leaving on the 29th (driving and arriving on the 30th). I see that Teppan Edo isn't on the list for 2011. Tutto and La Hacienda aren't yet, either. This is the list I pulled from Disney's website for 2011. Do you still think the finalized list is forthcoming, or is the list currently found on Disney's website the final version? We had planned on using one credit for Teppan Edo for our last night, but we will need to rearrange credits if you think this list is the final one.

There still hasn't been an update, so it is a pretty safe bet that the current list is NOT the final product. If you're watching to see a new version, go to the site, load the list, hit the refresh button on your browser just to make sure it isn't loading from a temp file, and then scroll all the way down. On the last page it says ©Disney 80310 - that is the publication date, 8/03/10. When that line changes to 12xx10, you'll know it is the final version. Until then, you're seeing the same preliminary brochure we've had since August.

After seeing the link in the other thread about Teppan Edo which led to a revised 2011 Dinning Plan Brochure that had listed Teppan Edo and Yak and Yeti I thought I would give the dinning folks a call and ask them for sure.

Basically she told me that while she can not say for sure those two will be on the list she said it is "Very Very Likely" they will be on it.

She said that these two restaurants are always the last two to confirm and they usually do it the last week of the year.

So, anyway, just some FYI.

Disney's website is being temperamental but it is updated. I couldn't get to it in my usual browsers (Firefox on this computer, Chrome on my other) but in Internet Explorer it loaded just fine. I didn't see anything missing that we'd expect to see - it looks like the 2010 list plus the two new Epcot restaurants, without any changes from last year that we didn't already know about (the elimination of a second beverage at breakfast).

I had the same problem. But I was browsing with Firefox. So I used Internet Explorer and it opened all the way up. I even checked the date at the bottom and it was the new one.

I am using Firefox and it wouldn't load, first past the first page, then past page 4. Finally, I just right clicked on the link above and saved it to my desktop, that seemed to do the trick. (And yes it had been updated to include more restaurants...)

Thank you for the information!! I was a little nervous as we booked CSR on the free dining plan and it wasn't on there until now. I see there are more at Downtown Disney now too - thank goodness because I wanted to do Wolfgang Puck again. I can relax now!
