:thumbsup2 Great plan, I'm there  If we get caught, we'll just say we're Teena's friends.

Oh man! You do that and Teena's gonna be in jail with us!!! :scared1: I hear they have one in the Magic Kingdom over the Confectionery that is referred to as "Candyland" by the CM's.

I know Teena has a sweet 'fang' for those Philly Tastykakes, so doing hard time in the "Candyland" jail might be too much for her!!

Thankfully we will have Arnold and Tom to spring us from the clink!

OK, here is my suggestion.... as a person who is middle aged with a child I can identify with your situation. I too have come up with a plan to permanently stay at the Beach Club. This plan will more than likely work for you as well so start packin!

My plan involves living in the closets that house keeping utilizes, but only when the hotel is full. I figure that this will mesh nicely with my new job as Beach Club mattress tester. You see, SOMEBODY has to make the call that it's time for a new mattress, and that somebody might as well be me.

With fifty billion mattresses at the hotel and an indecisive mind like mine, this task could take me decades!

Next we have to consider that husband of mine. All he needs is a computer, a fridge and a mattress so we are set. As for the dog, we will just have to dress him up with outfits from one of those boutique type dog clothing stores and convince people that he is a REALLY ugly baby. This might be a challenge since he is a 65 pound collie with a very long nose but we will just have to make due! My 12 DS is a water rat so he can work at the pool, gathering up all those green buckets that litter the pool from Hurricane Hanna's.

The only real hang up in this plan is having enough money in the bank to finance the purchase of all those Ziplock bags we will be needing for our raids on the club level offerings. Hopefully this will balance out with all the money we will be saving on health care costs due to the healthy benefits of eating all that oatmeal..... and since we have access to the house keeping closets we won't have to worry about running out of toilet paper either!

So there ya go! What are we waiting for??

See ya shortly....
Marlton Mom

Okay, I see the plan starting to shape up now. This is good.

My husband indicated he could work there when the money starts to get thin, so mattress checker works into those thoughts. You've got that position lined up, but he really likes sitting on the balcony, so he could be balcony chair tester, and view and full balcony checker (that would take some of the pressure off of Teena and Dee to have the answers to all the view and full balcony questions.)

We did consider that my son could learn all about geography and languages by hanging out at Epcot so that solves the schooling challenge.

As for stealing from the CL, instead of zip lock backs we could just steal the official uniforms and a cart from the closet we are living in. They would just think we work there and we could pretend to be rotating out the food to make room for the fresh product that is about to arrive.

This is sounding much more realistic and possible than I first thought.

Excellent :laughing: :banana::banana::banana:

:rotfl2: I would take a water view, but somehow I see a garden view as more of a peaceful area. Of course, after the hustle and bustle of being in Building 14 at POR, and staying at POP Century, anything will seem calmer, lol.
We've never stayed at a value :snooty: ;) but last time we were in Bldg 18 at POR. I requested 14 but they gave us 18 and we were glad! It was so nice there and right beside the quiet pool. It's my favorite moderate.

Yes, YES!! I booked garden view too! It was a no brainer. I think if enough of us GV-ers are in the elevator with our ziplocks, we can bum rush the crowds around the chips and dip and make a feast out of it, in fact we can just grab the bowls and make a run for the elevators.

I say we have a chips and dip meet by the garden view gazebo at YC. Those "Clubbers" will never think to look for the chips there!

Mwa ha ha!

Signed, Garden View in Marlton
Dang! I won't be there the same time. How about you stash some chips under the couches in the lobby? I'll make sure I get on my hands and knees and look for them upon arrival! :thumbsup2 Bury the bottle of leftover Kahlua in the kid's sandy area at SAB. Then send me a treasure map! pirate:

I checked every day and finally today one opened up. I quickly emailed my TA and within minutes we had the gv cl room for the second part. [/QUOTE said:
DisneyMomx7, I'm so happy you were able to get all 15 nights gv cl :goodvibes Maybe we'll be neighbors :thumbsup2 We also check on on 7/16 and staying gv cl. Are you still at the Poly the night before? What time do you think you will check in? I am counting down for both of us! I think we are at 91 days now :cool1:

Trying to get caught up- is everyone staying CL but me :confused3 :sad1::sad1:

I'm not either. I love oatmeal but my step dad does not and he wants breakfast, then none of us is much of an appatizer type so I just can't justify paying to upgrade.

We will be leaving in 20 days. I will pack plenty of extra Ziploc baggies. We are staying CL so I don't have to be too "sneaky". Now where do I send the map to show where everything is buried? Marltonmomsbandits@pirate.com? Now what should I put in those baggies to keep the oatmeal from drying out?

Trying to decide what to request for our upcoming YC stay. We are staying in a GV room (not club level) and right now my request is just to be second floor or higher, but I'd like to add also either wedding gazebo view (fitting since we will be getting married soon!) or view looking over the back entrance. Has anyone stayed in either of these views, or if there was another GV room you had at YC that you liked .. that would be helpful too!
Thanks!!

Yes I have stayed in the wedding Gazebo view old standard room, now garden view room. It was on the 4th floor. Lovely room, nice and peaceful and the view overlooked the wedding gazebo. If this works, this is a photo from my balcony

Having a fabulous time at the YC! :cool1:

Any missions or questions let me know :goodvibes

Wondering how the Spring Break crowds were. T-plans have them maxed out over the next week. Is it crazy crowded?

And oh yeah......:banana::banana::banana: enjoy!

Aug. 7 - Pirate

The only problem I see with Marltonmom'spirates plan is no wifi, how will you keep up with the thread when all the mattresses to be tested are being tested by actual paying guests?- do the housekeeping closets have dial up connections? Maybe you can learn to tether your cell phones (whatever that means.)

I'm not CL. Being a bit of a control diva, I make my own ADRs. We are also west coast and never really 'get' that y'all are in a different 'earlier' time zone and no way are we up and in search of 'free' breakfast on vacation @ what, for us, is 5 or 6 am (we don't do am rope drop either:snail:.) We like eating @ Disney restaurants and this time are doing deluxe dinning, I suspect we won't go hungry.
Also I'm garden view - I can't quite wrap my head around paying so much more for 'water view' to possibly end up looking @ the quiet pool - I mean, I can look out my own window and see my pool anytime I want. Of course if that quiet pool view came with patrons in that lime green manquini it might be worth the price for entertainment value alone.

Hey everyone,

I have a question, but don't know if it has already been asked or not. We will be staying at the Beach Club Villas for the first time over Memorial Day weekend. We will have our "at that time" 11 month old daughter with us. We are planning on going to Stormalong Bay and are wondering if we can take her into the pool area. I know they have an ifant pool, but will I be able to take her into the Kiddie Pool area or anywhere else. Thanks a bunch!

Add us to the August list please! I hadposted a few months back about winning a free disney trip but really in angst over where to stay (contest was for 6 nights mod, dining plan and park hoppers). Awesome win! :) We decided on POFQ and then out of pocket are paying for 3 nights at YC CL. We plan to stay at the resort all 3 days - no parks - just enjoying SAB and the whole place. We LOVE YC!! We are there 8/18 - 8/21...

Here's a schedule. It's wierd because we're driving down this time.

7/12 - LEAVE JERSEY!!!!!!! Drive straight through (because we're crazy)
7/13 - Arrive Orlando approximately 3:00 pm - check into Buena Vista
Palace and Spa. Have our traditional RFC at DTD 1st night dinner.
7/14-7/16 - Check into the Poly. First time staying cl at the Poly. These
two days have a dual purpose. One we want to relax from the
drive so we have rented a cabana the second day. Two we are
on a mission to try to be the Family that opens MK. We will be
at MK at the crack of dawn on 7/15 so wish us luck!
7/16-7/31 - The plan is to check into BC early - around 7:30 or 8:00 so we
can make it to EPCOT by rope drop.
7/21-8/04 - We will drive to Hilton Head and just RELAX!!!!!

We will definitely have to make plans to meet up!!!
