Looks like we overlap 1 day! We arrive at BC 8/27. If I get to SAB, I'l be on the look out for the perfect ****s, :rotfl:
I hope I'll get my room early, cause I plan on checking in early, I'll have been at POR from 8/21 so leaving POR early for BC check in. Taking cab.

I may be switching and push it to the following week, so we might arrive the day after you! Will definitely update once we decide. Then you'll have a view of the perfect ****s during your entire stay, LOL!!!:rotfl:

Been thinking about a split stay at POFQ & YC to save a little $$ (POFQ first). Have stayed at POR in the Mansions sections--was a very nice stay enjoy!

Oh, I meant to post

"Viva la France"- this is a cart outside of the French pavilion in EPCOT. The glass is somewhere between $8-$10.

Sorry, no refillable mugs of alcohol, but Pixarmom is suggesting transferring the drink from this flimsy glass, which is prone to spillage, to a heavy duty lidded mug so you don't lose a drop!

Exactly! I use my refill mug for coffee and soda - those are the unlimited beverages you get with the mug. Then I wash it out, bring it to Epcot in the evening, buy a slushie, pour the slushie into the empty mug and throw in a straw. It's helpful for me because I'm pushing a stroller, helping the boys with Kim Possible missions and chasing after my stroller escapee. So that plastic martini glass won't do! For now, I also have the stroller basket to store the empty mug, so that helps. Yay for your photos, Dee! :cheer2:

This is a great drink. If we are ever looking for a co-official drink to go along with the Sunken Treasure, I nominate the grey goose slushie. :)

My DH saw the picture of the slushies and made me post all the questions, he can't wait either!

He would probably love this site:
http://partythroughtheparks.squarespace.com/

I found it when I was looking for a photo of the slushies to show a friend who is going to Disney with me in May to celebrate my birthday. We are staying at BWI and I still haven't decided where our first stop will be after checkin. We land at MCO around noon so we'll be hungry. I was thinking of Beaches & Cream but I'm really leaning toward France and I don't really care what/where I eat.

Ohhhhhhh I love love LOVE the grey goose slushies!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 Always gotta grab one on our way in, then finish before I get to my mango margarita in Mexico!!!!!! :cloud9:

Love drinking around the world.

60 hours from now I will be there!!!!!!!! :cool1:

(live trip report link will be in my signature sometime tomorrow)

I've finally figured out how I'm going to make my millons and support my Disney habit. I'm going to sell rubbermaid spatulas so that people can squeegee the last drops of their Grey Goose slushies out of their refillable mugs!

Of course I'll have to make them with a straw in the handle to make drinking them that much easier. I will even sell t-shirts that say "Leave Mommy alone! She has a Grey Goose slushie headache!!!"

Yes, you can get your tickets up to 3 days early from a package. I have done it before. Very easy! Enjoy!

Can't wait to read your live trip report! :cool1:

Those slushies look sooo good! Definitely on my list in September!

pkdof, travel safe from DL territory! We miss DL and Newport Beach!

Thanks for the good thoughts! We were at DL just 10 days ago because we were going down to Santa Ana to see the Ben Franklin exhibit at the Bowers Museum (that's just 10 minutes past DLR). Got there in the am, got some FP and lunch, headed over to the museum, came back to use the FP and have dinner at DTD.

Too funny! I never got my slushie when we were there in December, so on our itinerary for when we arrive Sunday evening: "1. Try to get KP mission for France or Japan. 2. Get Mom her GG Slushie."

Maybe I'm missing something, but that's the same offer that's been up there for months; early spring, late summer. There still aren't any discounts for the middle of summer like last year. I wish there were!! Teachers here can't travel for any of the listed dates!

Our schools don't go back till Sept after Labour Day. :goodvibes I hope some more discounts come out for you. The current one ends March 27, so maybe they'll release some other dates soon.

We're doing a POR/BC split to save some $. Wish I could, but can't afford BC for 11 nights. And we love POR. Hope we get one of the new rooms. I saw FQ new rooms and they look great.

My friend is doing a split too, but she likes the villas so she booked BCV for our BC part of our stay. Will be easy enough to meet up even if she's in the villa section.

I bring my mug to the parks too, I attach it to my purse strap with a carabiener.?sp Handy to dump your drink into. And it helps it to stay colder in Aug. When everything melts in under 1 sec! As well, I always stop for a mug refill when we return to our resort before heading up to our room.

I wonder what the AP discounts will look like? I wish they put them out a bit sooner though.

Me too. But it seems like they are slower this past year or 2 putting out the AP discounts. For our Jan 2010 trip, we waited a loooong time for APs to come out, they were 1 month later then past years.
The current AP discount it says book by June 2? I think. So for summer, I think we'll be waiting awhile :sad2:
But I keep watching, cause- you never know. I just hope they will put them out for BC in Aug.

Sorry, another question!

I am going to be ordering a new stroller and having it shipped to to the resort. The only shipping choice is UPS ground. I know it will go to the convention centre and this is were my questions start!

Does anyone know what hours they are open to be able to go and collect my package?

How much is the charge at the moment? It is OK as we are saving quite a bit by buying it is the US instead of here in the UK!

Thanks again :goodvibes

I have a quick question...my husband and I have decided to rent a car. We are debating doing the valet or just parking ourselves. Any opinions?? We are staying at the Beach Club the last week of September!

I don't really know the answers to your questions. I seem to recall reading about a fee of $10. Even if this is the accurate fee, I am not sure if it is per package charge or if it is a minimum and the fee changes based on the size or weight of the package. Anyone know?

I googled Yacht Club convention center and found this telephone number:

(321) 939-7129

This may be for booking a convention, but I'm sure they could direct you or someone to the place to get the answers you want.

Is an international call difficult/and or expensive for you? I don't mind making the call for you- always appreciate a distraction from the things I should actually be doing... :rolleyes1

Park it yourself. We've never had trouble finding a spot and hate waiting for the valet to retrieve it.

Great, thanks...I wasn't sure how far the parking lot was from the entrance and all that good stuff, but we would much prefer to park ourselves!! Thanks!
