OK, not to send you entirely over the edge, but they make the slushies in a Grand Marnier flavor, too!

Bring 2 refillable mugs!!!
I've been dreaming of a Gran Marnier slushie for months now. That will be my first stop in Epcot!

Maybe I'm missing something, but that's the same offer that's been up there for months; early spring, late summer. There still aren't any discounts for the middle of summer like last year. I wish there were!! Teachers here can't travel for any of the listed dates!
I'm pretty sure there will be new promos coming out after the end of March. People in October have been waiting too.

I may be switching and push it to the following week, so we might arrive the day after you! Will definitely update once we decide. Then you'll have a view of the perfect ****s during your entire stay, LOL!!!:rotfl:

Been thinking about a split stay at POFQ & YC to save a little $$ (POFQ first). Have stayed at POR in the Mansions sections--was a very nice stay enjoy!
Buh, buh, but if you switch your time... then there's no competition for me! I mean, sorry to miss you.

A few of my friends have had mastectomies. One of them pulled me in the bathroom and whipped up her shirt to show me the "finished product". I was very impressed!! I imagine that after all the emotions and pains, that final outcome has got to be an achievement to be proud of.

Ohhhhhhh I love love LOVE the grey goose slushies!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 Always gotta grab one on our way in, then finish before I get to my mango margarita in Mexico!!!!!! :cloud9:

Love drinking around the world.

60 hours from now I will be there!!!!!!!! :cool1:

(live trip report link will be in my signature sometime tomorrow)

I had read so much about those slushies on the boards here that I really wanted to get it during our trip last August!! But somehow I forgot...it won't happen next time!

Looking forward to your live report TigrLvsPooh!! I don't have a trip ticker so for now I will live vicariously through the rest of you heading to the World!

Any suggestions where I can find chicken nuggets or something similar at the Beach Club or Yacht Club (counter service or take out)? I have a 10 year old who eats a VERY limited diet & we're considering staying at the Beach Club in November.

Thanks!

Your question may have gotten lost in the shuffle.

I poked around some menus after seeing your question and I didn't really see any counterservice chicken nuggets available at the Yacht or Beach Club.

In Room Dining has chicken nuggets on the kids menu for around $10, with drink, sides and dessert. Kind of pricey.

My son had some when we dined at the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club- I don't know if they can do takeout. Ben also had the chicken nuggets from the Liberty Inn at the American Pavillion and declared them to be very good.

Anyone know if any of the places over at Boardwalk have chicken nuggets?

Great, thanks...I wasn't sure how far the parking lot was from the entrance and all that good stuff, but we would much prefer to park ourselves!! Thanks!

It's not far at all. Right before the bus stop and a short walk down the covered bridge. Very close compared to other resorts.

Yes, the best thing about all of this is that I look and feel better than ever. It prompted me to finally take off my extra weight as well. Oh, the power of awesome tatas!:thumbsup2

I've finally figured out how I'm going to make my millons and support my Disney habit. I'm going to sell rubbermaid spatulas so that people can squeegee the last drops of their Grey Goose slushies out of their refillable mugs!

Yes - that's exactly what I need! It can be messy trying to pour the slushie into the mug! Sign me up!

Now I'm intrigued! We had two rooms at BC CL that I would have THOUGHT would be classified as gv cl (with daybeds). They were 5636 and 5682. Can you tell me which room has switched categories - and what the new category is?

5682 was changed to standard but they are trying to get it moved to garden which would up the garden view number!!

I don't know about the places at the BW but I remember reading over on the restaurant board that TS dining does not do takeout.

I recomend asking overthere where the nearest chicken nuggets to BC would be.

At the BWI Boardwalk To Go kiosk offers chicken strips. We had them and thought they were pretty good. Even my picky eater liked them. The walk wouldn't be too bad and you could always take the Epcot boat over there and the DHS boat back to BC.

I have two questions:

1) Are they making any improvements to the boat dock or is it just maintence?

2) I forgotten the order in which the Epcot and HS boats go? Can anyone remind me?

Another boat question...

I know the BC/YC docks are not running right now and may not be this weekend when we arrive. However, are the BWI docks up and running? Say for DHS? The bus may be quicker to get there, but I wouldn't mind the boat on the way back and then a walk from BWI to BC.

Yes, we just got back sunday, stayed at BWI the boats were running from there

Okay, so I emailed IPO on Monday afternoon, I think? Really I was just introducing ourselves, saying hello, etc. But I thought I would still get a reply, which I haven't received. I just emailed them again, with a question, so I am hoping I hear from them. Seems a bit odd to not hear anything back from them.

The dock has been there for 20 years. It needed a total overall and as far as I know they aren't changing anything, just fixing and replacing what is old.

The order for HS is: Y&B, S&D, HS.

Since from the BC there would be no reason IMO to take the boat to Epcot (5 minutes versus a possible 30 minutes), I have no idea of the order (I never use it for Epcot). The walk from the lobby of the BC to the International Gateway is shorter than the walk from the lobby to the boat dock. Then once you get to the boat dock, you could wait up to 25 minutes for the boat and then the boat goes so slow, even if it went right to Epcot, it would take at least another 10 minutes. If it stops at other resorts on the way, it could take well over 30 in the boat. And remember, the boat does not take you into Epcot, it takes you down the canal ... right past the end of the BC.
